Modern Purair Fraser Valley

My dryer stopped drying clothes properly about a week ago. I would have to run the load through 3-4 full dry cycles before things were dry, so it was obvious that my vents were clogged. I found Modern Purair through a Google search and called on Wednesday to find out the cost of a cleaning. The girl who answered my call was very helpful and friendly. She said there was an appointment available on Friday afternoon, with a 1-hour window. Most places won't give anything less than a 2-4 hour window for arrival. About a half hour after I booked the appointment for Friday, I got a call from Keith to say they had a truck in my area and could come by the same afternoon, but I declined his offer because I had to go back to work after lunch. So we kept the Friday afternoon appointment. On Friday morning, Matt called with apologies that he would be late arriving due to an emergency job that had come up and asked if he could come in the evening or rebook the appointment. The later arrival actually worked better for me, so I told him it would be fine to come later. Matt called me when he was finishing the emergency job and said he would be arriving at my place in about 20 minutes. He arrived promptly 20 minutes later. He came in, assessed the job, walked me through the process and got to work. The entire time he was there, Matt was very friendly and extremely professional. He put everything back the way he had found it and did a great job! And the price was very reasonable considering the good work and great service! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who asks. I plan to have them come back in the fall to clean my furnace and ducts, and will recommend them to my strata for future work in our townhouse complex. Thanks for coming out today Matt!

After extensive research I chose Modern Purair and I was extremely happy. On time, courteous and extremely professional I would highly recommend their service. They walked me through each step and showed me how and why they were the best choice I could have made. They thoroughly cleaned my ductwork and dryer vents and I couldn't be happier with results! Matt from Purair was very professional, on time and knowledgeable. Purair has the proper equipment needed to better clean the ducts. A lot of competitors don't. No corners cut here, the job was done right. Highly recommend!

Just had my 17 ducts & furnace cleaned in my house. The contractor Tyler arrived at the time I was expected and the whole process went very smoothly. After the clean, I got to see the results "the dust" that was collected. I would definately use their service again!

We just moved into a 12 year old house in Maple Ridge which used to contain 2 adults, 5 children, 2 large dogs and 2 cats. Needless to say the vents, which had never been cleaned, were extremely dirty. We had been noticing thick layers of fine dust on all our hard surfaces and I was always waking up with a stuffed nose. I decided on Modern Pure Air after reading reviews on this site and getting multiple quotes from other companies. Matt arived on time and was very thourough in his explanations making sure I understood exactly what was going to happen and how much everything was going to cost. The job took about 3 hours for our 4000sqft house with 27 vents. Turns out there was alot of drywall dust from when the house was built along with a whole bunch of pet hair, garbage and small toys. Matt was very thourough, clean and efficient. I opted to have the system sanitized with their natural sanitizer for an extra cost of $79 as we are expecting our first child and just wanted to be sure we were starting off with clean and healthy air. Now are vents are clean and the whole house smells like lemon and herbs. In total we paid just under $600 including all taxes, sanitizers and a 3 pack of new filters (which he went online to show me actually cost less than at home depot). I'm sure I could have got it done cheaper but the customer service and the quality of the cleaning was all excellent so I wouldn't hesitate to recomend them to anyone.

Matt arrived right on time, and was very professional. He explained everything, and showed me the filter afterwards. There was loads of dust and debris removed from the ducts. We have noticed that the amount of dust in our home has reduced considerably, and thanks to Matt's knowledge, we're able to make a few changes to keep the air clean in our home. We paid $388 for cleaning our duct system which has 15 vents, as well as a dryer duct cleaning and a new filter for the furnace. Kevin was very helpful in explaining everything he was doing and seemed very experienced and knew what he was doing. My only complaint was that I wanted to have the vents scrubbed with some sort of scrubber-thingy but he said it wasn't necessary and I didn't really understand his explanation. I didn't feel like going on and on about it and I'm not an expert which is why I hired them in the first place. He had a huge vacuum attached to the main duct though, and blew compressed air into the vents as well, and it seemed like that would do something.
