I truly have nothing negative to say about Archie and his team...they exceeded our expectations.

We had 3 quotes in addition to Archie's. His was not the lowest (pretty close) but was the most comprehensive. He broke down the costs so that we could perform a proper comparison…problem was, two of the other quotes we received included no real breakdown. (This goes without saying, but, if your contractor cannot show you a line-by-line account of his/her estimates, do not consider doing business with them).

I have no reservations whatsoever recommending Sobol. None!

I found Archie (Sobol Inc) through Homestars and got a quote from him along with one other highly recommended installer. Surprisingly, they both sourced the same window company, so it was a perfect comparison when the quotes came in. Based on previous reviews, I was expecting Archie to come in higher, imagining that he would win out with better service, and was pleasantly surprised to see his quote was almost $1000 lower. So we happily booked him!
Then came the decision process. Archie was totally patient with us as we made 3 or 4 revisions over the course of a few weeks, and helped us decide on the windows we really wanted. His view is that it is better to take your time and get all the tiny details right before the job starts, a refreshing concept in a city full contractors looking to get in and out and just get your money.
3-4 weeks later they started the install over the course of 3 days. This included all of our windows being replaced (we have a wonky un-level old house which posed tons of problems with installing),and the addition of 2 new windows where there were previously just walls.
The workmanship on installation was perfect, the flashing on the exterior flawless, but our biggest joy came from how nice, kind, and clean they were. They tarped every room before working, and at the end of each day, our house was totally cleaned and back to normal as if nobody was ever there. Working with Archie has the comfort level of working with family (if you like your family that is!), and we couldn't be more happy with this whole experience. I highly recommend Sobol Inc for any job!!

Archi was easy to deal with, accurate in his pricing, very professional in every way. His work is excellent and completed on time. He replaced all of our windows in four days. I would not hesitate to use him again.

I needed to replace some windows and was extremely pleased with the quality of work and service by Sobol. Their pricing is very reasonable, and Archiel took the time to explain the features of the types of windows available, to help me make the right choice. They were punctual, quick and efficient in doing the work, and left the place clean and tidy. The windows look great. I recommend this company very highly.

Due to the good reviews on this site, I called Archie and received a quote over the phone. His price was the best and he gave me the website to view the products he used. The products looked good so we set up a date for him to do the installation.

We are SO happy with our new door. It not only looks good, but Archie and his helper did a great job at installation. It's caulked all the way around, he removed all debris and left the place as clean as could be. Not only that but our original window frame is intact and was never touched ( unlike other window installers who sometimes damage the original frame which can be an added expense )

I would not hesitate to use him again!

My neighbour knew I was thinking of replacing a few more windows in the house. She had Archiel over to give her an estimate and he was mre then willing to come over to my place right after he finished with her. He took all the measurements right then and there and a few days later sent me an estimate for the windows. His price was more then reasonable and he was a delight to work with. He was professional, showed up when he said he would. They left the work areas spotless and you would not know they had been there. I love the new windows and will definetly use his services again and recommend Archiel to my friends.

They were 10% less expensive than others; delivered quickly; worked neatly, efficiently and pleasantly. The windows look great. They did extra work without charging. I recommended them to my neighbour who was also thrilled.

How to choose a good and reliable doors and windows installer? We had that question in our minds for a while. I asked around and my next door neighbour recommended Archiel. They told me how please they were with Archiel’s pricing and workmanship for the work done to their house. Archiel had replaced many doors and windows around my neighborhood. When we moved into our house, we noticed that the doors and windows were badly installed. We contacted Archiel many times to decide what is the best for our house. Archiel has been very patient and courteous during our discussions in selecting the doors and windows. He has in depth knowledge with what he does. We finally selected Archiel’s company.

They came on time during the installation and they did an excellent job. They paid attention to details and cleaned up before they leave. During the installation, Archiel has a potential customer who wanted to see his workmanship before signing the contract. We showed him the installed windows around the house and that sealed the deal.

We showed some of our friends our newly installed doors and windows and they were also impressed with the quality and workmanship. One of them also engaged Archiel to replace their windows.

We learnt an important lesson for our installation. Do not select the company based on the lowest price because this does not guarantee a good installation. Not all installers are equal. We would prefer to be happy knowing that the installer did a good job than to regret later. We will recommend Archiel to all our friends who want to replace their doors and windows.

Now I realize that the title is an understatement; Archiel will be a pleasant surprise to anyone who needs his services and contacts him.
His doing a very good job in assessing your needs and wishes and will recommend you the best offer. His team and himself will do a very good job and you'll be left with a clean space when they leave. I have no idea how the products he installs will fare in time, but what they do shows good. Recommended for work and reasonable prices.
