Top Roofers

In the fall of 2010 we hired Top Roofers to replace the majority of the roofing on our house (both shingled and flat). We hired Top because proprietor Bruno Tremblay gave us the feeling that he really knew what he was doing. As the job progressed this feeling was confirmed. The work was done very well, our property was kept tidy, the members of the crew were skilled, pleasant to interact with and found simple, common sense solutions to issues that other roofers quoting on the job had presented as significant obstacles. We were very happy with the work and did not hesitate to hire Top Roofers last month when we decided to go ahead with replacing the shingles and skylight on the extension at the back of our house. This was a more involved job in a way because it required shingling, the building of a new frame for the skylight and drywalling and plastering in our living room. Bruno and his assistant Lauris did a beautiful job both inside and out. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the flashing around the skylight. I like, trust and respect Bruno and would definitely hire Top Roofers again.

We've dealt with Top Roofers twice and would not hesitate to use them again. Bruno is a pro, almost a perfectionist, and the work is top notch. The first time we used Top Roofers was to fix a leak following a poor installation by another company. Most recently Bruno removed a flat roof and replaced it with a new rubber membrane. The job was wrapped up in 5 hours, the work site was cleaned and in the installation was perfect. We've had two torrential rainstorms since the new roof was in place, and it functioned perfectly. Top Roofers is not the cheapest company you can hire, but based on my experience that's a good thing. The work is done right, the first time, and at the quoted price.

Unlike some other roofing contractors we have dealt with, our experience with Top Roofers has been excellent. Bruno is knowledgeable, very customer focused, and gave us the confidence to proceed with him over other companies that bid the work. We were not disappointed. The jobsite was kept neat and tidy, and the work was well done. They went the extra distance to make sure we were completely happy with the work. We will follow up with Bruno again when our flat roof needs replacing.

Bruno was the only roofer who took the time to actually climb up on the roof to check things out before he gave me his quote. He advised that I install some more vents in the roof to improve air circulation in the attic which in turn should better regulate my house temperature. When the job started, Bruno and his crew found damaged boards under the shingles and replacing these did add to my costs. I feel confident though that I now have a better roof as opposed to a roofer who might have put shingles over rotting wood and not mentioned anything. Bruno and his guys were kind and helpful gentlemen. Bruno even made good on his promise to come back a week later to remove some hard to reach vines at the back of my house.

Estimates, quality of work, crew and minimal extra charges for damage discovered when the old shingles were removed were all very clear and reasonable. No surprises! The crew was efficient, tidy and fast and the owner of the business came by the next morning for additional clean-up. Very professional and trustworthy. After interviewing eight others for estimates this was the best choice by far with well met expectations. I highly recommend this roofing company.

Not only did they arrive when they were scheduled, they completed most of the work in the same day, and the owner personally came back the following day to finish up. All the workers, were professional, friendly, and cleaned up every scrap that fell to the ground.

I have used Top Roofers twice now to replace a flat roof, and more recently to replace a peaked roof with skylights and other "obstacles". Bruno and team always show up when they say they will, work quickly and thoroughly, and even go above and beyond the call at times. When the flat roof needed to be replaced, they removed the deck that was sitting on it. They always leave the work site immaculate. I've recommended him several times already.

Bruno is an exceptional professional who always answers the phone by himself. We are very pleased with the work that he has done. He has found matching bricks to rebuild our crumbling chimney and fixed the leak in our bathroom vent by installing a more proper bath roof vent, complete with matching shingles. (The previous roofer gave us a substandard bath vent and did not even put proper flashing around it.)
