The Custom Deck Company

Dany and his team were first-rate, top-notch, honest professionals who built our backyard deck in late Summer 2020.

He patiently worked with us on a number of design iterations / budgets as our plans and materials changed throughout the process (ended up being able to make composite work within our budget). They also honoured their price quote even when lumber costs had gone up from time of quote -> actual construction date, given COVID-related supply shortages, which was definitely appreciated.

They were very communicative around timing for when they'd be able to do the job given the extraordinary demand / job pipeline that they had during the summer, and they were able to get to our job and finish when they said they would.

The on-site team were great guys, professional, and hard-working / diligent. When our outside-electrical outlets had issues, they dealt with it by bringing in a portable generator so they could meet the deadline, and did so without complaints (though I can imagine it was frustrating at the time). The final product was great - Dany and his team had excellent attention to detail, and we were and continue to be very happy with our new deck.

Overall, very trustworthy and top-notch professionals all-around!

Working in the real estate industry, I come across many people who work in this business. The minute I met Dany, I knew he was someone I wanted to work with. From our first consultation to the final touches, the team made sure I was happy with everything. They truly exceeded my expectations. Very detailed orientated. I wanted privacy from my neighbours and that's what I got - 100% private backyard space. Thanks Dany and team for doing exactly what I wished for. Highly recommend!

They were not the cheapest but in speaking with Dany and understanding what was needed & how he was going to do it, I felt much more comfortable paying more and getting the job done right. When others were telling me spring, Danny’s team showed up the next week and worked to dusk to get things completed. There was even an extra railing that needed to be installed and they didnt have the part but to the lockout BUT to my surprise the guys showed up the following week and completed the job. We are very happy with the craftsmanship, the professionalism and the entire job overall. No complaints. Above and beyond expectations in every way.

The Custom Deck Company replaced our 16 year old wooden deck with a composite deck, adding an extension and stainless steel/glass railing. Dany has a great visual sense and his suggestions added symmetry to the final design. Dina and Shoeil are real craftsmen when it comes to their workmanship and it shows. We are happy to recommend Custom Deck Company to our friends. They did a great job!

Lovely work. Tied it up nicely. Took some time to fit in their schedule but understandable in Covid and everybody’s trying to fix up their backyards!
