We hired SealTech during the summer of 2017 to powerwash and stain our new deck. The result was horrible and made the deck completely unusable for the majority of the summer. We have pictures and videos that show just how bad it was.
The owner ultimately refused to fix the problems with their deck stain job and refused to give us a refund.
We eventually took the company to Small Claims Court. The owner actually secretly recorded our phone conversations! He only produced some of these recordings at the trial despite the judge's instructions to produce all of the recordings. The conversations/recordings that supported our side of the story were mysteriously not provided at the court date. Despite this, the judge ruled in our favour! SealTech was instructed by the court to pay us for the cost of fixing our deck.
However, now several months later SealTech has refused to pay us the court settlement and is not communicating with the lawyers. From these reviews, there certainly seem to be many happy customers - when things go well, they seem to go well. But our experience - and if you look closely at some of these reviews you will see others in a similar situation - is that when things don’t go well, this company refuses to be accountable. I would recommend everyone to stay away from SealTech!
