Ashlar Landscapes

Last year we had Daimon of Ashlar Landscape (formerly Forest Hills Design Group) install an interlocking walkway and entrance steps at the front of our home. We were so delighted with the finished product that, this year, we asked Daimon to install a patio in our backyard. Because of a family event we requested a pretty tight timeline. Daimon worked with us to create a beautiful design and made suggestions regarding stonework selection for under our elevated deck which saved us considerable expense and blended wonderfully with the upgraded stone we selected for the main patio area. The combination of the stone created a wonderful contrast. Daimon and his crew shifted approximately 35 tonnes of extremely heavy clay from our backyard to ensure the depth was sufficient to support the installation. This was removed via a steep slope, by wheelbarrow over a 3 day period. Daimon, Brett and John worked non-stop in intense heat to keep the project on track. As was our experience last time, Daimon was very flexible to adjustments to the design so that, when the project was completed, we were totally blown away by the transformation to our backyard. We now have a space that is perfect for entertaining and has greatly increased the value of our home. We had 30 guests enjoy the patio this past weekend and everyone commented on how beautiful our yard looked.
