Cornerstone Waterproofing

Saverio at Cornerstone Waterproofing is one of the few great contractors out there. I have worked with a lot of different contractors on many different kinds of reno’s and Saverio is by far was one of the easiest to work with. I interviewed many different underpinning contractors to find the right guy for what my engineer requested. Half of the contractors didn’t know how to do 2 of the main structural components requested by the engineer - angle iron beams and vibrapack underpinning. These were common for Saverio.

He came in on time and on budget. The job was completed in 3 weeks where others quoted 4-5 weeks.

His crew; Kyle, Kyle (yes, 2 Kyle’s) and Charlie worked very hard and long to complete this on time. They showed up at 8am every morning and worked as late as they had to - sometimes as late as 6:30! They were clean, polite and caring.

One of the key components that I liked and was comforted by was that Saverio worked with the crew every single day - he didn’t just check in every now and then. He worked just as hard as his crew. To me this is so important when choosing a contractor.

I would have absolutely no problem recommending Cornerstone Waterproofing and already have.

I have worked with many contractors for many years and there are not enough superlatives to describe the quality, attention and absolute fairness Saverio LoMonaco brings to his company. His calm, attentive demeanor allows you to make the decisions needed to do the best job possible within your budget. The crew is hard working and honest. I have no reservation in giving Cornerstone Waterproofing the highest endorsement one can give. We have more projects to do in the future and I won't consider using anyone else. Cornerstone is truly exceptional in both the quality of their workmanship & professionalism. After an enormous amount of research & meetings with almost a dozen waterproofing companies, it became clear that Cornerstone had more exacting standards of workmanship than ANY of the other contractors we had met with, including those which are considered to be the best in the city. Saverio's quote was either slightly lower or significantly lower than that of the other contractors, while his waterproofing solution was BY FAR the most comprehensive of any that had been proposed to us, including those from the few waterproofing companies that are considered the best in the city. No other contractor was prepared to do the work as comprehensively as Saverio did because, we were told, it would have been too labour intensive & costly. Saverio is very picky about the quality of his work, which is exactly what you want from a waterproofing contractor. His work was absolutely excellent, which has bought us complete peace of mind that our waterproofing issues have been fully addressed. The friendliness & professionalism of both Saverio & his crew also made them so easy to work with & a complete pleasure to deal with.
