Chico and the crew at Aquashield did outstanding work. I've already recommended them to several friends. They did a full excavation on our house and really did outstanding work making sure there were no more leaks in our basement. The crew worked tirelessly to make sure that every detail was covered. They didn't rest until every last detail had been taken care of. The team from Aquashield was extremely patient when it came to explaining the work and showing us what was going to happen. We actually enjoyed having them around while the work was getting done! Thanks a lot to everyone that worked on our house.

Chico and his crew had just finished a job for my neighbour and came highly recommended. They worked on the front of my house to waterproof the basement. They came across some unforseen shift in my foundation and efficiently corrected the problem for very little extra time or money. After dealing with a nightmare contractor we hired Chico and his crew to lower and finish with cement our basement floor. He gave us lots of good advice on how to reconfigure the entire floor. No cutting corners here. His work was outstanding. He also found and waterproofed a section of the wall that needed repair for no extra cost. Chico knows his trade inside and out.

The finished product was better than we could have hoped for. Living in an old home in the Upper Beach in Toronto, the basements are a nightmare. We can't believe how nice it is now.

Chico and his crew lowered and waterproofed our basement. Their underpinning and concrete pouring was impeccable! I had various contractors in and out of my house for months and EVERYONE said their work was outstanding--including bylaw officers. I have and will continue to refer Aquashield to friends and family.

Our basement started leaking even after a light rain. Given the age of our home, it was likely due to a damaged weeping tile system. We called Aquashield on the recommendation of another service contractor and I'm glad we did. Chico and his crew were knowledgeable, courteous and thorough. I was kept informed every step of the way. They were careful with my surrounding yard and cleaned up thoroughly when they had finished. I had my basement waterproofed last summer and through the heavy rain in the fall and this spring, my basement has stayed warm and dry. I had to get mould removed from my basement, and during the process it was suggested to me that I have the foundation checked out since that seemed to be the source of the problem once we'd removed the drywall. I had a number of waterproofers attend to look at things and provide quotes. I gathered quite a lot of information. I was most impressed, however, with Chico and his partner when they came to take a look. More than once. Chico and his crew were really busy that winter but we coordinated a start day and a time. Chico and his partner actually came ahead of time to review the project and the lay of the land before starting the work. Start day arrived and we reviewed everything again, and Chico made a number of suggestions. A small job grew because of issues discovered along the way which I was notified about. II agreed that, rather than having them return in a couple of years to fix what we could see was wrong right then and there, these items should be looked after while they were already there. No sense in finishing up the job, putting everything back, only to have to dig it all up again in a couple of years time. They employed some neat and sensible methodologies during their work - for example, rather than putting me through having to remove my back deck so they could excavate and waterproof that part of the foundation and then have to put the deck back, they took the time and trouble to tunnel underneath it. That's the sort of thinking and strategizing Chico and his crew use. And it, along with the other little things, were all appreciated. Set up and clean up, professionalism, being polite to the neighbours was all good as far as I was concerned. They committed themselves to working through some of the coldest temperatures we experienced in the city this past winter but in the end the job was done and things were left to settle down for a while. They have to come back to finish up the ob and do the remaining cleanup, but I wanted to write this now so that others looking around for waterproofing services know that Aquashield is well worth contacting and hiring.

Through word of mouth, my husband and I contacted Chico from Aquashield Waterproofing to remove the old concrete floor in our basement and replace it with new concrete. The workers Chico provided were top notch. They worked steady for two days to break up the floor, laying down gravel, and pouring a thick layer of new concrete by hand. When the workers noticed a small leak in the rubble foundation, they went above and beyond their duty by fixing it for us. The price was right, the service outstanding, and we couldn't ask for a better finished product. Our basement is now clean and dry. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
