I found this company through Homestars.com and I am very happy I did. Charles was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. He was able to see me the day after I initially called them up. I "inherited" a fireplace from the previous owner of the home and it wouldn't start or, even after manually lighting it, wouldn't maintain a flame. Charles was able to identify and fix the issues within an hour. He vacuumed out the unit, polished the glass and left the area cleaner then when he had arrived. A wonderful experience overall and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for fireplace maintenance, repair or replacement!

Charles was polite and courteous. He always answered all our questions, worked hard and cleaned up at the end of the day. We are extremely happy with the finished product.

Charles was great. He was exactly on time, and protected my hardwood floors in the area he was working. Very knowledgeable and helpful! Polite and friendly! Too bad my fireplace is unfixable! But he did give me lots of options for a replacement.

TJ is a commiserate professional. He is honest, knowledgeable, and prompt in answering questions. He definitely lived up to his reputation.

Even though the information was not exactly what we wanted to hear (replacement was required), TJ was very diplomatic and took the time to really help us understand the options and costs.

Hired TJ's to remove a 29 yr. old gas insert & firebox and install a new direct vent unit. Charles and Justin did a great job over the few days it took. They were professional, courteous and efficient. The finished job with the glass & stone tiles at the mantle and the finished floor tiles look just great. Very satisfied with their work. I would highly recommend the company.

Hired them to fix a specific problem, blackening, smoked up glass. Charles did not thoroughly take the fireplace apart, did not discover the problem and did not fix it. I called back and Terry said he "thought it was a distorted burner", although he had not been here, and the burners had not been looked at. He suggested I might be able to replace a burner with an old one if one could be found. I hired another company, who fully dismantled the fireplace, discovered a worn seal and air leak around the gas pipe, repaired it, repositioned a log, and problem solved. Charles admitted to me on the phone that he had not been thorough enough, and I believe Terry owes me a refund, as they didn't do the job they were hired for. He has tried to say that they were there for a routine service, but that is not true. I hired them to fix a specific problem. The serviceman from the other company took it upon himself to call T.J.'s and say what he had done to fix the problem. I have not heard from Terry since Jan 19, and I gave him plenty of opportunity to provide a refund to me. His communication with me has also been unsatisfactory, as he is very slow to respond, and has taken no initiative to rectify this situation.

I called Terry to help install a new fireplace I wanted in our basement. He was very professional in our conversations and was able to get us the fireplace we wanted at rate better than what other companies were offering. Overall, we are pleased with the work that he and his team has done.
