Mold Tech

Being retired I was beside myself when I thought I had a mold problem in my recently built cabin. My grandson loves spending time there and I definitely wouldn’t want to jeopardize his or my health. I contacted a well known restoration company and was told by the project manager that it was extremely toxic black mold. When I asked if he would take a sample to test exactly what type of mold he said “no that would be a conflict of interest.” I was baffled, as it just didn’t make sense. He also said there was no need to get another quote, so the warning signals were flashing. The project manager then sent me a quote for over $2,100 and gave me one day to authorize it or the price was subject to change. After meeting with Charles Ghanime from MoldTech, I can see why it wasn’t in the first company’s interest for me to get a second quote. The conflict at the first company appears to have been an incorrect finding of black mold and a very high price for that finding. Charles, who is a project manager at MoldTech arrived exactly on time to look at the cabin. He took his time, examined everything in detail and found NO MOLD. Charles said there was no need to charge me to take a sample when it is not mold. He didn’t even charge for coming out to look. I have never written a testimonial before, but I would recommend Charles and MoldTech in a heartbeat. It’s a rarity to find someone so honest with great personal and business integrity. Should we ever have a mold problem, Charles and MoldTech will be my trusted solution.

Their service level was amazing. The gentleman that owns the company did a great job. His commitment, responsiveness and his ability to pull in other people to help was all tremendous. I recommended them to my neighbours.

Charles delivered on all fronts. We had a number of iterations on the quote, which was constructive. Mold Tech was timely, took care of my property and did everything they said they were going to do. I was very happy with their work and Charles is a nice guy to deal with.

I hired them twice. One was mold remediation in the framing left by my city home builder. We didn’t realize it but we had a leak that created mold, we had them to clean them up. The work was fantastic. They followed protocol to the tee.

I hired them for mold remediation and they were very efficient and very clean, very professional, had attention to detail, respect for home owner’s property. It was done in a day.

They were very professional, always on time, reasonable and always returned my phone calls quickly. All in all, they were incredible. I recommended them to my mother in law and others as well.
