Post review note: I've downgraded my review for Modern Konstruction. During installation, they damaged a 50' HDMI cable I had installed in the wall. I didn't ask Matt to pay for the damaged cable (~$100) but we agreed that he would come back after I reran a new cable and patch up the route that would have to be cut. It's a year later, the cable is rerun, and I cannot get a response from Matt. Emails, phone calls, message via Homestars: nothing. So, contrary to my earlier comment that all concerns were addressed....well, it appears they are not and now I have to fix it myself. Sorry to anyone who was influenced by my earlier score. Matt's a nice guy, his work was okay for the most part, but I feel more than a little let down. Something to keep in mind.

I was very happy with the service and support provided by Matt and his team. I had them board, tape and mud my kitchen and side entrance to the house. It was not an easy job, with 21 pot lights in kitchen dining area alone and a recessed beam to work around (from a removed load bearing wall). The work was done ahead of schedule, looks good and Matt was very easy to work with. All concerns were addressed to my satisfaction and I really appreciate that his quote included priming the walls afterwards. I will definitely be contacting Matt for my basement drywall work.
