Pretty Handy Guy

I had windows recently installed and needed the trims around them painted as well as some drywall where damage was done. Did the 3 quotes thing and I have to say, John, just comes across as a genuine honest person. He really stood out from the others. Scheduled a date and time and he was prompt, did a great job and was clean.

Would not hesitate to hire him for any job.

I found John from PHG in homestars site. I was lucky he was able to come and see the work needed to be done and got to work on the project right away. John was professional, on time, finished the work when he said he was going to and he came to work even though he was sick (he didn't shake my hands :)). His work was neat and I would definitely recommend John. Hope he can do my kitchen as well.

John showed up on time on early Sunday! looked at my home and in the same night sent me a very professional price quote. I've been without curtains for 3 months now. Being disabled I'm no longer able to do things around the home like before. I hired John and he is now my hero! He did a fantastic job. John spent the day here doing all the curtains and rods in every room and then put together a desk I was ready to throw out it was so frustrating! I will definitely be recommending John to anyone who needs a handyman. I'm starting my "to do" list for the next time! I'll be calling John for sure.

John finished my basement two years ago when my daughter and her boyfriend moved in. i called him back to make the stairs (railings, banister) safe for their baby, who is now a going concern. The work looks beautiful and i have more peace of mind. John is polite, friendly, and cleans up after himself. I would recommend him ,and will be calling him again..

We had John come in to replace 14 of our interior doors. I don't think any of our frames were square anymore but John had no trouble doing the job. He was very patient and cleaned up before leaving each day. I would hire him again

Our project was:
- upgrading of door trim (some 11 doors)
- fixing some incomplete trim work
- upgrade of main-floor wainscoting and extending it upstairs

We are delighted with John's work. His attention to detail, artistic eye and work ethic greatly impressed us.
He is very easy to work with and was very patient as we made decisions on materials.

John was great. He was very easy to work with and professional. He amazed me at how much he could finish in a day. I had a list of around 10 various jobs from painting trim and doors, refinishing walls and painting the kitchen, installing new closet doors, fixing my exterior door, painting and parging on the outside of the house. I am so happy with his painting and refinishing work. The house feels so much better. I would definitely contact John again in the future.
