I was very stressed about the mould situation in my partially finished basement due to a slow leaking toilet in a small bathroom.

I contacted mold.ca and from the first phone call to the end of the job, I have never dealt with a more professional and pleasant team.

Gregg took the time to explain the extent of the problem and the steps required to resolve it.

Once the remediation began, the team kept me informed about the progress and answered all my questions.

They removed everything that was contaminated, including the entire bathroom. They repaired the basement foundation walls and floor, painted the exposed foundation walls with mould resistant paint and painted the concrete floor with a sealant paint.

When the project was finished, my basement was left clean, safe, and mould-free (I was so happy with the remediation that once it was done I asked the company to do the rebuild)

I had a mold issue in the basement boiler room, stemming from a broken stack that needed to be replaced. I called mold.ca and they sent over Gregg that very day to assess my situation. He was honest, professional, and very helpful. The affected area was small enough for me to do the work on my own and he provided me tips on how to do it. He could have taken advantage of me and said that it was very bad and needed serious remediation, but he didn't. He also provided me with some replacement drywall pieces that I needed (they were extra pieces from another site that were to be disposed of and he gave me some to make use of it)

When we found that our basement had major water damage and mold, we were referred to Mold.ca by our waterproofing contractor. They were able to schedule our job quickly, and sent a team of guys in masks and hazmat suits to clear out our basement. They sealed off the basement from the rest of the house, set up giant fans, cut out all of the wet and moldy flooring, drywall and studs, and treated the space to get rid of any remaining mold. They were very thorough and careful, and salvaged as much as they could from the existing space.

Dean, Marck and the team were super nice and very respectful and conscientious. It was a big job so we got to know them a bit -- we kind of missed them when they were gone!

Gregg and his team came punctually to all our appointments. This was a very stressful experience and they helped us get through the situation as easily as possible. There were two parts: one was taking apart a moldy garage with shelves and part of the roof and wall. The second part was building the roof, walls and shelves back to their original state. The crews for both were competent and courteous. We have no complaints.

I have never had a better customer service experience than I have working with this fantastic company. From the first minute, I could tell they were trying to help me rather than take advantage of a horrific situation. I met Gregg first who assessed my mold issue. We hit it off as he's very personable. He gave me the avenues we could take to deal with the problem and tried to help me take care of it myself first. He went to his truck and gave me a bunch of supplies free! I did eventually opt to do a full deep cleaning. This is when I met the wonderful Indira. Let me tell you.. she's a special one! What she put up with during this whole crazy ordeal is truly unbelievable. Sure, she was there to answer every single question I had. That was the easy part. She also put up with my verbally abusive tenant and his girlfriend who called constantly, yelling and accusing Indira almost daily. She could have easily treated me differently but she was so empathetic, knowing what I had to deal with unjustly. I was so embarrassed and ashamed that she was dragged into this mess. She never made me feel bad and always laughed at my awkwardly delivered "jokes".
Gregg helped me coordinate the cleaning with his team and it went flawless. One day of excellent work. It went so smoothly!! He was always available to chat the same day I had any questions or concerns - calling me from his truck between jobs. I honestly felt like the company was made just for me. Like I was the only client that mattered any time I chatted with them.
This job was a huge stressful one for myself and I doubt any other company would have made me feel like a friend rather than just another invoice.
