2006. Complete construction of customized wrap around deck from ground up. Included was the addition of fence down the property line. Approx. 3500.002010. Based on the quality and affordability of Chris he came back and gutted one of our upstairs bathrooms. Complete start to finish. Approximate. 6400.002012. Returned and completely refaced our kitchen with custom counters and unique clear stone backsplash. Approx. cost $7000.002016 recently just finished gutting and finishing our other upstairs bathroom as well as finishing our basement with an incredible Rec room. Then to wrap everything together did a complete and through paint job with his crew of the basement stairs and our bedroom. Excellent service and value every single time. Trusting, professional and amazing Reno partner. Approx cost $ 9000.00

Basement shower was a leaking, moldy mess, originally built in an awkward corner with low ceiling. Chris was great - professional, patient, reliable, clean. Faced with lots of challenges, he came up with affordable solutions. Everything now is dry, mold free and attractive with nice tile work. Pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend.

Chris and his team did a fantastic job. He had great ideas and suggestions. He is very honest, reliable and does great work at a very reasonable price. We have now asked him to do some some interior renovations and would highly recommend him.

My deck needed a complete overhaul and Chris' team did it! It's beautiful, the design is perfect and the workmanship - excellent. The crew was always on time, courteous and polite. I am thrilled with the finished product and would 100% recommend this company.

We hired this team to reno our backyard to make it safe for kids as well as make it more up-to-date. Was given detailed quote and time frame for work completion, as well as clear answers to all of my questions. Work was done professionally and on time. Will hire them again for our next projects as we are very happy with results.

My fiancee and I wanted to badly update our backyard as it looked quite dated. Previous owners expanded the patio, but it wasn't done correctly and grass was growing through the patio and it just looked it's age.

I reached out to a couple of places, but most never responded or they had a minimum of $5,000 regardless of size of project, which based on how small our project was, seemed a little ridiculous.

Thankfully I found Chris from Top to Bottom Renovation. We made an appt to look at the project and he was here early for the appointment, and based on the busy summer season he wasn't able to come immediately, which was OK with me.

Chris came the week after Labour Day (our agreed upon week) and finished the entire project in 3 days. Which was removing all old stones, re-doing the fill and then placing new stones down. However, our challenge was that we live in a townhouse complex, so getting the old stones out and new stones in wasn't easy. Chris never worried and the entire project was done.

Our new patio looks great and would highly recommend Chris for any project!

Horrible Experience!!!!
I hired this company to extend my deck after i checked the rating on homestars. My deck is 10 feet high.
Shortly after this team started the job, one of the builder's contractors knocked on my door and told me the deck was not being built to code and advised me to fix the issue because it will be a safety hazard. I asked Chris about this and he assured me 1000% that he was going by the code (I admit i should have gotten an inspector right then but i did not). A year later, i had few people in the industry tell me the same thing about the deck. Since we were considering to sell the house, i got an inspector to inspect the deck. it FAILED inspection and the inspector said it was a Safety Hazard!!!
I emailed Chris about the issue and asked him to come and fix the deck to get it to code but he refused claiming the deck was built to code. I even advised him that i would take him to court if he failed to come and fix his errors. He again refused. I am now in the process of fixing the deck, which is costing me a fortune because all the contractors i got told me they have never seen anything as bad as this!!
I have attached the pictures that show clearly how bad this job was. IF you are considering this company for any type of work, my advise is to get an inspector to inspect their work.
