I recently had frozen water lines under my home.
Montys was the first company to show up.
The service was good and they had me thawed out in 2 hours.
I was grateful and appreciative till the next day when I received my invoice.
I was charged $ 548 for a 2 hour call to replace a 24 foot heat tape on my water line.
The labour was an outrageous $400 !
I was under the house and had cleared the area, had removed half of the pipe wrap when he showed up.
I even loaned the gentleman my flashlite to do the job.
There was a second van showed up, and had another worker who sat in the van for the whole time.
I don't know if I was charged for two men or not,
But, a $400 labour charge to replace a heat tape is beyond comprehension.
My review is to warn people using Montys, to be sure to get a quote so that you don't experience the blatant cash gouging that I did.
