Great service. The technician was professional, caring, knowledgeable and a great person. He explained what he was doing in detail and made me feel at ease.

Our furnace broke down last week Friday morning and I started shopping around. I used furnaceprices.ca and sent a request. They forwarded my request to 2 companies and Mersey sent me a sales person - Ash. Ash came by and looked at everything and offered me a very very competitive price for Lennox furnace. "She made me an offer I couldn't refuse." I signed the contract right away and she said the techs would come in the following day (Saturday) between 8-10. I need to mention here, that the other companies I spoke to, none of them were able to come in for installation before Monday - we would have been without heat for 3 days.
On Saturday, bright and early, at 8:00 a.m. Alex & Jerry showed up at our door. They said it's going to take 6 hours to complete the job. They took special care of my property (stairs, etc.) and finished the job around 2:00 in the afternoon, as promissed, cleaned up and left. Alex & Jerry, they are both very knowledgeable and efficient techs.

All in all Mersey is truly an amazing company to do business with. Exceptional service, unbelievable price - what a great combination. I would recommend them to every one.

Tech paid attention to all details. Given an explanation of all work performed and informed me of things I needed to know for care of the furnace. Tech was very polite and knowledgeable. He is a definite plus to Mersey. You need more like them. Thanks for the good experience

My recently installed humidifier did not seem to be working, so I placed a service call. Long story short, a young man came to look into the problem, ensured it was working before he left and I was very happy.

I found Gavin to be polite, respectful and very easy to ask questions of. I intend to ask for him again should the need arise with any of my HVAC concerns. Thank you so much Gavin.

Regular maintenance performed as part of contract. Gavin was very thorough and explained maintenance report. Have always had excellent experience with Mersey services whether regular maintenance or emergency service.. Would highly recommend them.

Yearly furnace inspection done arrived on time very professional noted that humidifier filter need replacing. Wore mask and shoe covers in house.

Be very careful with this organization. I have used them before for yearly maintenance. No issues. This year, I had a problem with my furnace. I contacted thrm. They were very responsive and came out within a day or 2 to diagnose the problem (an inducing motor had to be replaced). That visit cost $169 (more about this later). The pic below shows the part (although I had no idea at the time that was the part that was to be replaced. The part itself was free because it was covered under Lennoxs warranty, but the cost to complete the repair was $375. So the total charged was $475. The cost would have been even higher but (regretfully now) they convinced me to sign up for some yearly maintenance plan so I got a 20% discount on the repair fee and $69 off the diagnosis fee (which also, to be frank is a bit sketchy separating the cost out like that. Please.). Nobody likes to pay for any repairs and we always think its too much I get that. And I do believe that these people need to be paid for the work that they do, but the consumer should not be hosed, so I just assumed that the repair would require quite a bit of work. I couldnt have been more mistaken. The total amount of time required to replace this fan was about 20-25 minutes! I was shocked. That works out to about $900-$1125 per hour! The best lawyer in Toronto doesnt even charge that much and this was for a furnace part replacement! Compare that to the labour changed when you get your car repaired. Disgusting. There was nothing I could do about the charge with the serviceman because he has no control over what is charged, so I called Mersey the following Monday and was told that they would get back to me as soon as possible. The woman also agreed the charge appeared excessive. I didnt hear from them for a couple of days so I followed up. It was then that things got even worse. The person I spoke to on the phone this time, aside from having no record of the fact that I had called on Monday with a complaint, suggested to me that the bill should have been $900 and that I got off easy!!! How insulting. I was livid. Think about that: he was suggesting to me that they charge about $2100-$2700 an hour for their servicemen! Remember that there was no parts charge this was purely just time. I have still yet to hear from the operations manager) and I have tried calling them back on two more occasions. I suspect that the call back will never come, since it has been almost two weeks since I was first assured that someone would be getting back to me in the next couple days.

All this to say, be very careful when dealing with these people. They apparently have no scruples.

Ive relied on Mersey for the past four years and every technician who has serviced either my AC or furnace is extremely professional.
Sam serviced our furnace unit today and was again very professional, open and honey about the unit and servicing down. Cant say enough good things about Sam and Mersey.
