We retained Javier and partner to make multiple moves of furniture and household items from a three bedroom apartment to various spots around the city. We found the service timely and reliable. If you don't have a big move, it is an economical way to move small quantities of goods. Rates are negotiable. I have hired Cargo Cabbie 3 times now and have liked their moving services. I had two industrial sewing machines moved which were very heavy and awkward and a bunch of boxes. My machines were moved carefully with blankets and not damaged. Javier is easy to get a hold of and is reliable.

I was about to go to IKEA to buy a futon and a table with chairs. I found Cargo Cabbie on the web while searching for a small moving company. The guy on the phone was very helpful even though it was a last minute call.
They showed up 10 minutes before the scheduled time, helped me bring the furniture into the truck and up two floors, helped me unwrap it.
It's a great idea if you don't have a driver license or a big car to bring stuff from stores.
