Mr Build Vancouver

We needed the job completed over Christmas break and it was completed on time and on budget. We were thankful that Mr Build was able to do this on short notice and that we could trust him to complete the job while we were away.

We needed to replace our bathtub with a walk-in shower but, as we only have one bathroom in our
condo, the job needed to be completed during the two weeks that we were away over Christmas. We
explained what we needed to Kurt in September and he assured us that he and his team could meet
our timeline.

While we were a bit nervous about leaving town and not being around to watch the progress, we were very happy with the final result. We came home to a bathroom that met our expectations. Our old tub had been removed, a walk-in shower installed along with brand new tiling, a new ceiling fan installed and the entire bathroom repainted. And it was all completed within our time restrictions.

Kurt was extremely easy to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again.

Work was satisfactorily performed notwithstanding initial challenges with documentation and owner representatives. Kurt was attentative in finding creative solutions. Aluminum railings were a fine finishing touch. Work commenced in spring, concluded in fall.

Easy to book and great communication. Very pleased with the addition of weatherstripping and adjustments made to door hardware for much improved function. Look forward to having more small projects done in the near future.

We have used Mr. Build for 25+ years, in every manner of repair or reno you can think of. In both planned renos and emergency repairs, like the time we had a plumbing overflow nonstop, he has come to our rescue. His crew is always friendly, his estimates reasonable, his service totally reliable.

The team at Mr. Build is fantastic! We have worked with them on a number of projects from small repairs to full room remodels and each time we have been extremely happy. They help us plan and figure out what is needed for the project, make suggestions on how best to approach the work and provide recommendations on where to shop for one-of-a-kind tiles and accessories. The work they do is spot on with amazing attention to detail. We will most definitely continue to work with Kurt and his amazing team on all future home improvements.

We wanted to install decorative brick on both sides of our garage entrance to differentiate our house from others in the neighbourhood. Mr. Build was the only small contractor we contacted that could handle all aspects of the job. They were very professional, did a great job and cleaned up well after themselves. We are very happy with the end result and have already received several compliments from neighbours.

We hired Mr. Build to put in a skylight and the workers did a great job: skilled, professional, & were careful to lay down plastic tarp to protect rugs. They also took great care with painting and clean up.

Mr Build opened up the wall between our kitchen and living room. They also installed crown moldings and smoothed some ceilings. They were able to give us the most open room even though the wall was structural and containing the plumbing stack for the upstairs neighbors. We were very happy with the results. We had the same 2 guys throughout the reno. They were professional. They knew what they were doing. The timeline and cost was consistent with the original estimate. I would use them again. I have recommended them to a fiend and to family.

I had Mr. Build do various projects around my house both big and small. Without exception all projects ranging from leak detection to plumbing to renovation, all were completed expertly, quickly, and all Mr. Builds workers were a pleasure to have around. I will be using them over and over again...no job was too small, too difficult nor too challenging for them to come up with a solution. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
