Distinctive Designs Landscaping

I was 8 months pregnant when I called Kurt in tears about a landscaping job gone bad. We put a pool in during the summer (2019) and were left scrambling with an incredible amount of dirt, rock, debris – and a fast approaching c-section. It was a large job (landscaping in both the front and back yards) and it was already September. Kurt was so accommodating and professional, right from our very first phone conversation. He was able to come over that same day and see our yard and managed to (somehow!) work us into his existing schedule for the fall.

After a bad experience with a previous landscaper, we were incredibly nervous. Kurt was so very patient. He took the time to reassure us that the work would be done properly, professionally and on time. Kurt and his team came into the project partway through, which meant considerable clean-up and preparation before any stone could be laid. We spoke directly to Kurt, who was on-site during construction to guide this process so there was no miscommunication. Every morning the crew showed up promptly and worked diligently through the day. At the end of the day, the clean-up was immaculate. Every tool, every machine – everything! was returned to its proper location and the yard was left spotless. Everyone at Distinctive Designs was so incredibly polite and efficient. It very quickly became clear that we had chosen a team that takes pride in the work they do. It was so refreshing and such a relief given our previous experience!

We knew when Kurt and his team started that the work would not be complete before our new baby arrived. We left for the hospital just before the crew was finished wrapping up, feeling confident that things were in great hands. When we returned home (new baby in tow!) everything was finished beautifully. The work was everything we could have hoped for and more. When Kurt began, I told him that we wanted to pay a professional for a professional job, completed in a reasonable timeframe. Distinctive Designs Landscaping not only met, but exceeded, these expectations. If you are in the market for landscaping services, this is a team you can trust to do an excellent job. Our only regret is not calling Kurt sooner. We can’t wait for summer to enjoy our yard!
