Another heating firm was contacted to carry out a cleaning service on my unit, they realized cracks in the heat exchanger and gave me an estimate on replacement, I was less than impressed by their approach and was informed it would be about a week to have it replaced (due to the cracks being found on a Friday). I contacted D&K and explained my situation, a rep was at my house on Saturday morning and the furnace was replaced on Monday, the receptionist, sales rep, and technicians were all extremely knowledgable and the installers also cleared up a number of issues which i had been living with since the last unit was installed.
I am extremely happy with everything that was done!

The installation took one day, and it was fully functional and cozy. The workers arrived on the day and time they said they would, were very neat, careful and friendly. The vent is neatly installed and caulked thoroughly. They installed the wires for the thermostat carefully behind the baseboard and when they left there was no clean-up left to do...all I have to do yet is get my brother to finish it off with the drywall, hearth and mantel :) I'm very pleased and satisfied with the job! The salesman stopped by a few weeks later to ensure I am satisfied, too. Thanks so much, Shawn!
