Ontario Asbestos Removal

After buying a century old house we found asbestos in three different areas: heat shield (above the furnace), vinyl tiles in the basement and old duct heat protection cover (vents). I've contacted Marcelo for a quote. I described him the work to be done over the phone and he promptly provided me the quote. I had contacted other four companies but Marcelo's quote was by far the most competitive rate. I had also requested if the job could be done the next day. Despite the rush, Marcelo was able to accommodate my request and he sent me all his credentials via text message. The next day, the team was on time and the job was done quick and efficient. After the job was done, Marcello offered to conduct air tests in all floors and sent me the results shortly after. I'm very satisfied with the service provided and will recommend to everyone who needs asbestos removal.

We had just started a major kitchen and main floor renovation when my GC informed me that we had vermeculite in the attic. This had been missed on our initial inspection as it was sandwiched between layers of batt insulation. We had it tested and it came back positive for asbestos. Obviously our GC was forced to stop work immediately and I frantically started making phone calls to figure out how to deal with this with as little downtime to the project as possible. I work for an architectural practice and have contacts who I contacted first. In addition to this I searched Homestars as most of my contractors did not generally work on residential projects. I was sceptical at first having only read positive reviews for Ontario Environmental, surely they weren't that good. The guys worked nights because of the hot weather in August, working Friday and Saturday to have it complete for Monday. We got the all clear on Monday and my GC was able to start work again on Tuesday with only 4 days lost. Totally professional and in constant contact while the guys were working. Marcello and Ontario Environmetal were cost effective, accommodating, efficient. He didn't ask for a deposit and had the work done quicker than anyone else had quoted. We discovered asbestos paper wrapping on duct work on day one of our home renovation. We were nervous to continue the wall demolition and called Dominic who was calm, and gave me the best quote for approximately 10 ft of duct removal. I am a new home builder. Needed to remove asbestos fibre boards in a house about to be demolished. Needed the job quickly, done by certified personnel, a proper completion certificate and fairly priced. Marcello took my call personally, texted certifications to me while we were discussing the job, came by to assess job when agreed, gave me a price well below the other three prices I had already received. Marcello took the time to explain what he would be doing, and his men were at the site as agreed, did the work and I received the paperwork.
