I was fortunate to find Waterman Plumbing to fix my broken sump pump. They arrived as promised and quickly diagnosed the problem. ( I had spoken with another company prior to reaching Waterman who had installed this pump, and they tried to convince me that I simply needed a cleaning to fix it.)
Jim and his assistant arrived within a short time after calling for an appointment. Jim told me I needed a new part and explained what was happening to make my pump fail. True to his word, Jim came back when he promised with the new part and the pump is now fixed! On a side-note, the pit was not at all in need of immediate cleaning, nor was this the reason for its failure to work!
Jim took the time to educate me on how to check my back-up battery, how a sump pump operates, and how to improve my back-up with some options. He did not try to upsell, nor did he try to put me in panic mode about work that needed to be done. Just suggestions…
Overall, a stress-free experience dealing with professionals who understand plumbing and are knowledgeable and capable at what they do!
