Terrible workmanship, students had no idea how to wash windows, scratched window frames, damaged shrubs, had no proper equipment, College Pro Window Cleaners is not a Brand, it is a marketing company that provides a invoicing/advertising service to anyone who thinks they can wash windows, and takes a cut of the profit. USE anyone else but COLLEGE amateur WINDOW CLEANING.

Used this Company for several years to support the young entrepreneurs.
I will no longer use this company as the past two years there has always been a problem. So much depends of course on your crew. No shows and cancellations at last minute seem to be the norm now. Lack of integrity as they don't do what they say they will do. From the scheduling to poor management when you call in to share your concerns. BEWARE and save your time. ~ Donna

We received a quotation from College Pro to clean our windows inside and out, plus all our screens. The quote was very attractive and they called twice to make sure everything remained in place for them to do the job. They arrived on time, executed very well and addressed our every concern. The District Manager, Daniel Garner, oversaw the entire operation in a very professional manner. The lads that did the cleaning were very polite and worked very hard. It was a very satisfactory transaction and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Decided to give College Pro Windows Cleaners a try, and regret it as a waste of time and money. They mimic bells and whistles of a real business, trying to get real bucks for fake job. We were lured by ads in our mailbox, and natural desire to help students. After a call to the office we were redirected to Tyler, their representative in our area (Barrie, ON). He answered immediately, quickly came to our place for estimate, and was super nice. The quote for cleaning windows both inside and outside of our 1800 sq. ft. back-split, including screens and frames, was $200. The price seemed attractive. Usually it takes two of us a full day to do the job. Assuming 16 man-hours at $12 rate for a student, and faster/higher for a skilled team, this looked reasonable. We asked to come after 1 pm so that my wife is back from work. Tyler suggested 3 pm, which still looked feasible, and we agreed. So far so good. A team of two arrived an hour late, at 4 pm, without any specific equipment except a ladder, which they did not bother to use. Unfortunately, my wife had to leave, and left money to our daughter just in case. Coming home from work at 7:30 pm, I found nobody working. My daughter told the job was finished around 6:30 pm, when they left with the money. Meaning 2 guys cleaned windows of entire house in just 2.5 hours, making $40 per hour ($200 in total). Not bad for a summer job, wages in line with those of a licensed contractor with years of experience! Of course, the results did not meet any standards. Dirty frames, some untouched with all dead flies intact. Dirty screens with cobwebs all over the place. The windows were cleared, however corners and tough spots were not done. Apparently kids did not know how a clean window looks like. The office, however, assured that they went through proper training, and - yes, screens and frames are included. We called Tyler, he did not pick up the phone (of course!). We left a voicemail, he called back at a time we were not home and left a message, we replied, he did not answer, this line of communication apparently was useless. Instead we received a super polite email with a survey about our experience with College Pro. I filled it giving 1 star out of 10, and asking to finish the job. Reply was quick and super sweet as expected. Of course, Tyler would be only happy to come and fix spots they had probably missed. We made it clear it was not about just spots. They appeared in front of the house uninvited next morning when only my mother in law was at home, and left without ringing a bell. We exchanged e-mails for some time, which ended up with Tyler complaining about his tough schedule, and finally blaming us in ‘not giving him flexibility’. It became clear that was it. We have washed the windows ourselves. Later I have checked online reviews and communication between students themselves, which revealed that our experience was not unique. The kids look at their work at College Pro as a sort of a school project in running own business. It includes managing their fellow students, selling services, and getting money for signing as many contracts as possible. The job itself and its quality is left outside of the equation. Sort of a modern classroom where everyone gets the highest marks (money in this case) for just making efforts. Nice try, Tyler and College Pro Windows Cleaners! You left me no choice but report you to Better Business Bureau. Thank you for experience, never again!

I am very upset with the quality of service I received today with College Pro windows. First of all I was double booked and my appointment was not even in their service calendar. I had to call and find out where these cleaners were they were over an hour and a half late getting to my house. Then the first thing they ask me is will I be rating them on a 10 out of 10 service. I said do the job first and then I will rate the service. So they proceed to tell me that they are using a new cleaning system that is basically using my water and dish soap with a broom with water coming out of it. I have used this service for many years and they have always used a ladder and proper cleaning tools. I then let the boys continue to clean and I had to go over with a new hire that um you need to clean in between the the window sills. So by this point I felt like I was cleaning their mess. The blind in my kitchen is broken the strings that pull up my blinds are all tangled, Three of my basement windows still had cobwebs on them and window streaks and were not cleaned at all. I basically said that I could have done a better job you use a cloth to clean windows not a broom to properly clean. I feel like I was robbed today I have called the manager twice in the last two hours and have not received a call back it kept going to voicemail. I was told the job was 164.00 and I paid 186.00 I am so upset because I have never had any problems with the company before until now. Of course they keep calling you when they want to provide a service but when a hard working family like myself that was a lot of money to spend and now I'm trying to reach someone its almost impossible. If someone can please email me as soon as possible that would be great.

Terrible experience. Used ratty dirty clothes and dirty water. Cleaned screens inside the house and left bugs in the house. Sills were still dirty although we paid for it. Windows still had smudges and watermarks. Do not recommend. Customer service was not good.

Very poor job...some windows not even done. Also paid to have vine removed...it was not done, BUT cheque was cashed.Have called several times & was told someone would get back to me & service would be rescheduled. It has not been to date. Have been a customer for many years,always good service before. Will not get again because of poor response to my complaint. Barrie,Ont,,July/15

windows had not been cleaned for almost 2 years so the job seemed a bit overwhelming for me. My sister in law has had Ryan come for a number of years and recommended him to me. He was able to schedule me fairly quickly, was personable, price reasonable -cleaned inside, outside and sills. Was prompt and jobs was done quickly and efficiently. I will certainly book them for next year!

We have a large 2 story with walk-out home, with many windows, and a few requiring an extension ladder. We got this company to clean all our windows, and patio doors, and they even clean the screens, all for $150.00. They did a fantastic job, and were so polite and professional. We will definitely have them come again. They even do other odd jobs, such as taking down your Christmas lights while they are up there for a nominal fee. We didn't realize this until they had finished, but will use this option too...as we are ones to leave them on all year. Great service, friendly staff, and great professional work!

terrible service, unprofessional, dirty water used and not changed, not impressed. Was expecting a good experience but did not get it, never again. I am an honest person and my husband and i were expecting a decent job but this was far from good. Just not impressed overall.
