We just moved and wanted to finish our basement. We also were thinking of adding a powder room but didn't know of that would be possible. We struggled to find a contractor that would deliver on what we wanted at the price we wanted but in speaking with Krys, he was able to offer what we wanted at a fair price. Krys and his team were so professional and respectful when it came to taking special precautions during Covid. If we're had concerns or weren't happy about anything, Krys came up with a solution for us and ultimately we have a renovation that we love. Through it all Paulina was there to guide us through the process as the goto person to solve any scheduling issues that presented itself! We couldn't be happier with the work! If you want quality at a fair price, I would recommend Krys Construction without hesitation!

Krys and his team did a great job on our basement renovation from completely un-finished to totally finished in about 6 weeks.

His entire team was very organized and stuck to a calendar schedule laid out by Krys and his assistant Paulina, both of whom were great to work with. Every team member from every trade worked well together and were all friendly and polite.

I would have no problem recommending Krys Construction for any future renovation projects. They were on time, on budget, no surprises or hidden costs and quality of work and finishes very good.

Once we decided we wanted to finish our basement, we got a number of quotes from and met with different contractors. We decided to go with Krys and have no regrets. This review comes a bit late but we wanted to give Krys construction the credit they deserve. We completely gutted and renovated our master ensuite and main bath, moved walls to build a walk-in closet and had hardwood installed on the second floor. From the beginning, we appreciated Krys’ quiet confidence and “can do” approach.

His team were friendly, easy to deal with and most importantly, great at their trades. Paulina kept us on schedule and was a pleasure to deal with. She thought of every tiny detail and wanted to ensure the end product would be to our satisfaction.

We are very happy with the quality of the final product and are enjoying
our new spaces every day. As with all renos, there were a few hiccups but it was the way Krys handled these issues that sets him apart. He was accommodating, professional, reasonable and his answer was always “no problem”.

We have had some terribly bad experiences with contractors in the past. We are very pleased and relieved to have found one we can rely on. We would not hesitate to hire Krys Construction again or recommend this company to others.

Krys & his crew were amazing from get go. They followed the schedule to the T and were on time & on budget in finishing our basement. Paulina, his project manager is super organized and helped us find the right vendors & finishes for our project. She’s super patient & was always available to answer our questions (there were tons of them!!) or tackle any issues. I liked that Krys doesn’t scope creep and there were no hidden costs.
Right from the framing guys, to drywall, electrical till the last people finishing the job were all very courteous, polite and helpful with suggestions. This was our first major renovation in the house & we couldn’t have asked for a
better contractor. Krys was not the cheapest contractor
around, but the quality of their work is top notch and speaks for itself. They even take care of getting a cleaning lady & duct cleaning at the end of the project so that we get a clean basement at the end of it. Overall, we are very happy with Krys construction & how they recreated the basement we hoped for!

Your search ends here!! I have know Krys from 8 years ago when he did the framework for my basement in my old house. Now when we wanted our basement done again, it was going to be no one but Krys Construction. Krys and his team finished our basement and renovated 2 upstairs showers for us this past summer. I cannot begin to say all the good things about Krys and his wonderful team. I would never get anything done from anyone else but Krys. Krys is a trustworthy and honest guy, and these types of people are hard to find. Each and every one was a joy to work with, and the quality was expectational. Krys and his team took the time to explain everything to us and were very patient. I really liked that the fact that the team loves what they do and each and everyone takes pride in there speciality. We totally love our new space
and it turned out better than the upstairs of the house. Paulina thanks for being on top of everything and being so patient with me and keeping up with daily emails, phone calls and companies. We had our basement finished early this summer and are so happy with the results. I love going down and having the children play in their new playroom and the laundry area is fantastic!
