Daniel and his team fit us in to their schedule last minute when we learned the house required the basement to be dug out and new sewage lines put in. Communication throughout was top notch as was his team - an incredible group who were courteous, punctual and extremely hard-working. They are valued and highly recommended!

During these trying times it was hard to get any projects started but Daniel and the boys came over and got the basement reno done

From the very first point of contact, Daniel and his entire crew have been excellent to work with. I contacted True North after reviewing many other contractors on Homestars.

Our job consisted of removing and replacing the existing basement cement floor, replace all the drains, water proof the basement and also remove and replace the garage cement floor. We did not do underpinning, because the height of the basement is fine. Daniel recommended putting in a backwater valve and sump pump. While we were at it, we added radiant floor heating.

The job started on time. The entire crew worked fast, kept me informed, cleaned-up as much as possible each day and was very courteous. Daniel would always check with me to make sure the work was done to my satisfaction. With any renovation, issues come up, but Daniel kept me informed and offered suggestions to over come the issue. We are extremely happy with the work and highly recommend True North.

We recently worked with True North to underpin the basement in our semi-detached. Daniel and his crew were absolutely wonderful to work with.
From the start Daniel made himself available to answer our many questions. He even went above and beyond to speak with our neighbour to help get her permission to underpin the party wall.
We were worried about the disruption since we were working from home through this, but the team onsite were minimally disruptive, always courteous and very punctual. Everything was well organized and we felt extremely comfortable and at-ease throughout the process.
The project started and completed more or less on schedule and on budget.
Overall, we're really happy we chose to work with True North and would not hesitate to do so again.

The True North team were great to work with from start to finish. There were a number of problems encountered throughout the process (none of which were at fault of True North) and Daniel + his team were instrumental in finding solutions every step of the way.

Going into renovations, we were most concerned about underpinning, though it ended up being the smoothest portion of it all, thanks to True North.

Daniel came recommended by a few friends and he absolutely did not disappoint. We had a few quotes for underpinning the basement, and he spent the most time of any company (by far) looking at the basement to ensure the quote was clear and accurate, and explaining the process to us. The crew who worked on our basement was fantastic - John, Kevin and the rest of the guys were always here bright and early, super friendly and kept the worksite clean, and did their best to cause as little disruption to us (working from home). They made what could have been a stressful experience very easy and an all-round pleasant experience. Daniel wasn't on site but was available for any concerns that arose. Thanks for the great work, would highly recommend!

We were referred to True North by friends who recently had their basement lowered in Leaside, and we are so glad they did! Daniel and his on-site team were incredibly professional, efficient, and in regular communication throughout the project, including when the water would need to be turned off briefly and other day-to-day items (which was important, because we had our newborn upstairs!). Daniel was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in answering any questions, and helped guide us through the process. Can't say enough good things about Daniel and the team.
