Bob was great with his estimate and suggestions in order to make sure that we received the outcome that we wanted. Doug was excellent and worked with his crew to ensure the results were ideal. the basement reno is absolutely lovely and we are very well pleased. So much so that when we needed some patches dome as well as some sanding to prep the remainder of our house for painting, we asked them to come back. And they did. They fit us in around their other work even though it was a very small job. Thank you again. We highly recommend Bob, Doug and their crew.

The staff were very good at communications and being there when they said they would. Work was done very well and I am very pleased with it compared to other companies I have used.

My first involvement with Glacier drywall was the estimate by Mr. Doug Hood. I found him informative and knowledgable as to the different stages that would be involved in the work and repairs required after the electricians completed their work. I also found Mr. Bob Zimmerman to be knowledgable and could qualify the added costs based on the quality of products and workmanship by his company compared to other estimates. Ultimately all employees were courteous in addressing any questions and respectful of our home. We are extremely happy with the end result and the honesty and integrity of their team made it a total quality experience.

I recently renovated the main floor of my house and needed to hire a team to remove the existing popcorn ceiling and apply a knock down texture. The previous home owners had painted the popcorn ceing different colours and left weird gaps all over the place. I asked for a quote and bob came over to the house to measure. He was very knowledgable and punctial. He also informed me that his team can repair the damaged drywall on the existing walls and prepare the new ones for painting whuch was a huge relief.

It was a good decision to hire them as they are a great team and easy to work with. I even recieved daily updates on the progress whuch was helpful for planning my time. I had a complication due to my flooring contractors schedule overlapping the texturing timeframe. Bobs team worked very hard to accomidate his schedule which was greatly appreciated.

They did a superb job and I get compliments from every person I show the house. This company is professional, clean, organized, and produce awesome work. They also have good pricing for what is out there. I highly reccomend hiring them for your next job.

Glacier Drywall came in and repaired some water damaged drywall in a rental property that was small in area but involved multiple corners. A bit of a wait because they are busy but it wasn't an emergency and once they started they billed me by the hour, finished up quickly, left the site in great shape. Highly recommended.

The guys did a quality job at a reasonable price for me, on a small drywall patching job in my basement! Would recommend, as well use them in the future for other projects.

Bob, Doug, Isaiah and Allan are a great drywall team that finishes a project through to completion producing a high level of quality. I am very impressed--the corners look great as do the closets. My 500 square feet of drywall took about 2 weeks to complete as they work in a number of other projects along with your own. I feel this is better than many other contractors out there.
While I give the fantastic work quality 5 stars (which is the main and most important goal), I rate the scheduling at 4 stars. There were a couple of instances where my project became delayed and times where I wasn't notified if one of the team wasn't coming. It makes it difficult to schedule other trades and or visitors to my home. I have heard many, many worse stories about irresponsible contractors so I believe it best to take the delays in stride as Glacier overall produces a good final product and the timeline is still mostly within reason.
Doug and Bob are covered by Workers Compensation--this is extremely important to me and it made me feel that should anything happen on site we would be covered for worker liability. This does make the quote price go up, but this is very reasonable--they have to pay high rates to be covered by WCB.
Probably the most impressive thing is that at the end of the job Doug spent a fair bit of time following up with me to see if I could offer suggestions for improvements. Hands down, there are very few contractors out there that would even pretend to care and my general sense is that Doug and the rest of the team actually do want to see their clients pleased--it was way more than a perfunctory follow-up. This group works diligently, long hours and good effort is put forth.
The bottom line is if you want to proceed with a drywall project, even a small one like mine, don't hesitate to hire Glacier. Finally, there is a group out there giving the rest of the industry a good name. They have all the t's crossed and i's dotted.

Unlike the majority of other drywalling companies that I contacted in Calgary, Glacier actually came out to look at the project and provide an estimate. We decided to go with them, and the work was completed well and pretty much as scheduled. The fellows that worked on our garage were polite, hard-working, and skilled.
