We had drain blockage in our basement and smelly water was backing up every time we used dishwasher. In spite of early morning hours and snow storm, Slavic has arrived in two hours. Over a phone he explained to us possible causes and resolutions and explained which tools he is working with. Slavic arrived at time and performed his work with a great level of professionalism, explaining and showing to us every step. Slavic is using modern equipment such as plumbing video camera which allows him to see what is happening inside the pipes. Work was completed in a very reasonable time; the place was even neater then before and charges absolutely reasonable. I would highly recommend Slavic to anyone who is looking for a perfect combination of work professionalism and excellent customer service.

I had Toronto Drain & Plumbing install a backwater valve, they were very courtious, respectful of my property and they did the job very neatly and timely. The price was very reasonable and the job was well done. They left the place spotless at their own isnistance even though I offerd to clena up. Trenching is hard work that many plumbers will overcharge for, do poorly, or put off on their schedule. Not Slavic and his team. They work hard, get the job done quickly without cutting corner. The price is not elevated, but it is entirely fair. Start here. You won't need a second plumber.

Our Recently finished basement began smelling of sewage recently. After a quick call to Slavic to ask if he could find some time during the week - he offered if he could visit the same day. We were pleased with his professionalism and respect of our home. He brought state of the art equipment to help diagnose the problem and provided us with solutions available. And, when he completed the work- the area was left clean and tidy. I only wish all home service providers behaved as admirably as Slavic.

Our basement drain started backing up every time we used the washing machine. We called in another (bigger) company first assuming it was just a simple clog - which was not the case. The larger company gave us a quote close to 7K to fix the problem. I had called in Slavic before to give me a quote on a main-floor laundry rough-in for our house and he had given us a very reasonable quote for that project so I thought I would call him back for a second opinion on the drain. He came in, was very knowledgeable and detailed about the work that would need to be done - removing a large section of the pipe that ran from our basement to our front yard and installing a backwater flow valve. We agreed to have him do the work. He started the next day, and had people working over the weekend to fix the problem. His guys arrived when they said he would each day, completed the project on schedule, and cleaned up everything afterwards. Our house is older and has two separate drains: a sewage and a storm water drain. Instead of the single backwater valve they actually had to install two - although he only charged us for one so the final amount was exactly what was originally quoted. The work required digging out my front yard, but they were also nice enough to carefully remove the plants that were there, cover the rest of the yard to avoid more damage, and put the plants back when they were done. I would highly recommend Slavic and his team.

My basement was flooded during July 8, 2013 heavy rains in Toronto. It worked as a wake up call for me to install a back-water valve as with global warming it is highly possible that we may have such experiences in future more often than before. If you want to work with a courteous, punctual and reasonably priced plumber just call Slavic. His team did a very good job and left the area spotless clean. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a back-water valve installation. I would use them also in all plumbing jobs I may need in future.

They explained the process and timing in detail. They followed up and completed each step on time as promised. They also took great care to protect the areas they walked through, and cleaned up after the work was complete, leaving the area spotless. I am truly impressed with their professionalism.

I saw the truck for this company in the neighbourhood, took note of the phone number and did an internet search. When I read all the positive reviews here, I went ahead and called. Slavic was terrific. Everything was explained in detail. He called when he said he would call and arrived when he said he would. He made all the arrangements for the permit and inspection and also completed the paperwork for us to submit to the city for the rebate currently being offered. He and his crew were very respectful of our property and clean-up after the job was thorough. It was a pleasure to deal with this company and we will definitely use them again.
