I was extremely satisfied with the services provided by Metro Contract Management. I phoned Jamie on Tuesday evening and he squeezed me in the next morning to come look at the job. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. He sent me a hardcopy quote and answered all my questions.

I had signed off on their quote, and Josh and Dave showed up right on time in their well equipped truck. We went over the work to be done and after that I was at total ease. These two professionals did a fantastic job that exceeded my expectations.

We have 45 year old tiles on our floor which are starting to lift and leaving a white powder on the concrete.
A flooring company told me the powder (from a photo) that the powder may be asbestos and recommended Metro to me.
I called and Jamie (I think that is his name) came and told me that he believes the tiles are asbestos, the powder looks like efflorescence and my problem may be drainage. He also gave me an estimate to remove the tiles in a safe manner. He also that everything is safe as long as I leave it alone. When I determine my options, he will test the tiles and residue to determine if I do in fact have asbestos tiles. The cost for the test will be included in any contract price to remove the tiles.

Laura, Jamie and the entire crew from Metro Contract Management did an excellent job on the remediation of asbestos that was discovered during our renovations. We discovered asbestos mid-renovations when a second set of tests for the popcorn ceiling came back positive (first test was negative, hence we proceeded) along with asbestos in the linoleum floor. Fortunately, this was discovered very early in the process with minimal exposure. Jamie came by our house to investigate within two hours on a Saturday afternoon. He offered to have the crew start work 2 days later on Monday. Jamie was incredibly knowledgeable about all the rules and regulations in Ontario relating to asbestos and walked us through the process. Metro was very understanding with their pricing and worked with us to give us the fairest price possible. They even took care of several demolition activities like removing kitchen cabinets etc at minimal charge. When we weren't satisfied with the application of bridging mastic on ceilings - Laura reached out in person and had a crew rectify the issue to our satisfaction. Working with Metro minimized the stress of discovering asbestos in our house. I highly recommend Metro for any asbestos-abatement related work. These guys are professionals and do everything by the book with incredible customer service. Thanks Metro!!!

Jamie and his crew did a good job. They arrived at time stated and did a great job of removing asbestos. The crew cleaned up and there was no mess. Jamie came by and checked work and to make sure I was satisfied. Which I was.
