Overall we had a good experience with Wow. I would use them again and would recommend them to others. My only caution would be to be very clear in your expectations. We did not discuss whether or not we wanted to leave brass picture hangers in or not and as a result some were left in and painted over which I would have preferred not to have happened. That said 13 months later when I brought it up they sent someone to fix it. We also didn't think to ask that the ceiling down to the basement get painted and so it wasn't. Take your time with the walk through and be very thorough in your expectations. They pride themselves on customer satisfaction and I am pleased that they came back and fixed our minor issue.

Company Response

Thanks for the review Amy. Sorry for the initial misunderstanding around the picture hangers, but glad to hear we were able to come back and fix the issue for you. The walkthrough is a very important part of the process, so we appreciate you spreading the word to our clients! All the best,

Interior house painting

We had Wow! paint the inside of our house a year ago (June 2015). At first we were completely satisfied with the job done, but we later noticed a couple of things that have left us feeling dissatisfied. We have two large dogs and try as we might to keep a clean as possible house there is always a little dog hair about. The painters did not do a very thorough job wiping the windowsills before painting and we now have dog fur painted into each windowsill in our bedroom. Secondly the painters failed to remove some of the picture hangers from the wall so now some of the hangers are adhered to the wall. To try and remove them will leave rather large marks on our white walls. We are in the process of replacing a large piece of art over our sofa and I have 3 painted in hooks to deal with. I emailed the company and asked what the policy is about removing hooks. They responded that it is not unusual to paint over the hooks as the art is usually hang in the same spot. I pointed out that these hooks were brass and were previously not painted over so presumably I wouldn't have wanted them painted over at any time. I do not think it unusual that people change their wall art or decor from time to time. The painters that worked upstairs did remove the hooks and we later replaced them. To be fair we are currently in negotiations with Wow to try and rectify the situation, but I have to say I haven't been impressed so far. Questions have been left unanswered and I haven't been informed if Wow will cover the cost of fixing the wall or if we are expected to pay due to poor communication. I hope to write an addendum soon saying all was rectified and we would use them again.
