CertaPro Painters of Durham-No Longer in Business

Contracted CertaPro Painters of Durham to paint hallway, stairwells and bedroom. Disjointed would be the best way to describe how the work was done. Didn't have the proper ladders to do the job, which resulted in the painter taping the brush onto the extension. Paint everywhere it shouldn't be. Paid for three coats. Some walls rolled three coats but trim only two. Overall just a very poorly done job.

We had contacted few Exterior painting companies to repaint some of the walls, stucco, etc outside of our hold house for renovation/appearance purposes.

The one that seemed the best price wise and quality wise was definitely Cert A Pro Painters. They had sent out previous flyers to us in the past for various promotions and we decided to give them a shot. It was worth it in the end as they did an excellent job, and had great workmanship in the work they did few years ago.

They were friendly and careful in what they were doing. The rep who did meet with us before the appointment was set, explained to us the various promotions they're having, showed us the choice of paint that matched appropriately outside with the exterior and even gave us different options to choose from such as coats and such.

In the end, despite their "hefty" price, it was well worth it in the long run.

We hired CertaPro to do interior painting in our home. They painted the ceilings in our living room and the ceiling leading up the stairs as well as the skylight. I thought the service was great and the painter was accommodating and did a great job.

We had all of the window trim painted in our home by CertaPro Painters last summer. I was really impressed by the work that was done. I am a licensed mechanic and I am pretty meticulous; when the work was complete I went around to inspect everything after they were finished and I was really happy with the work that was done. I heard about Certapro through a flyer I received in the mail and am happy I did. I had a good rapport with the company's workers, they were prompt, keeping the appointment we had scheduled and were very, very efficient in their work, which they guarantee, which as a homeowner makes me all the more comfortable to use them. I would say that I am more than satisfied with their work.

Certapro painter did a wonderful job. Kevin the owner explained everything about the paint used (Sherwin william paint). Used a consultant that he had referred as to in selecting our colours for the main floor and upstairs. The painter Vytas did a very good job in painting the walls. He was the only one painting, and the trim done was good. He left the extra paint cans for us if we needed to do any touch up in the future. Highly recommended company for the Durham area.

After seeing Kevin's work on a neighbors house I went ahead and used him on mine. The painter I had used for the inside does not do exterior so I was happy to see Kevin's van outside when I called him over for a quote. Very nice guy, his painter was great and paid attention to detail. All the trim was needing a paint job real bad, and painted the stucco too. The house looks new again. Thank you Kevin for a great job and I hope you get more business from my neighbours.
