Beaver Brothers Decks

I needed a cedar deck to be installed in mu backyard (attached to my house, not free standing). I got a great deal, with me buying the materials and Beaver Brothers, just conducting the labor. They asked for a deposit before beginning the work they started the next day after I gave them the cheque payment with initial deposit. Finished the whole deck, ground up - in two days!!! And only worked mostly during day time,when I was at work. Would absolutely hire them again and/or recommend to others.

I was looking for good work and reliable people. My friend gave me Beaver brothers card and I thought if my friend recommended this people I should go with this company. I was right, they did good job and time to do deck was estimated right.Thank you.

Hi! I decide to write review because I feel like I got great deck for fair price. I bought house two years ago, and everything was fine but old. I did renovation in side the house I know a little bit about renovation work, time comes for deck… and I was lost, have no clue about pricing but I know how I want it look like. I called couple companies and did couple of estimations. After shopping around for offers I did make my choice towards Beaver Brothers. I was right, work with them was easy because they well explain to me everything (I usually ask a lot of questions) I will definitely recommend them to any of my friends who looking to build or rebuild there decks.

I live up in Richmond Hill. My friend recommended me to use Beaver Brothers. I’m very glad they did. They were really easy to work with and very accommodating to my frequent changes. If I were to move to another house that needs a deck, I would definitely use them again. I only wish the deck was a little bigger. Originally we wanted the deck to extend to the side of the fence with no railings to maximize space but Anton told me that violated the building code here. I really wanted that so I didn’t have a small dead space on the side but I guess it’s better than getting fined and have to remake it.

My deck was done, crippled and absolutely ugly. It was not safe nor was nice. I called these guys just to get an estimate and at the end.... It cost me even less!!! I was so surprised on the professional touch that these guys have. They fixed everything and now I have a perfect deck that everyone can enjoy! Thanks guys!

Good builder. We had quotes from a few contractors but we decided to go with someone smaller so we can get the owner to work on our deck. Their price was fair. We did have some quotes that were cheaper but they seem a little sketchy for me. i'm glad we picked them. They helped us design the deck and suggested we do the boards diagnol with a pattern. That really made it look more interesting.

Anton and his brother did a great job. We love our cedar deck! I don't usually write reviews but I really felt they went above and beyond. I'm a bit of a control freak so I even went to the lumber yard with them to pick out wood. A lot of contractors probably wouldn't have let me. Anyway, I was surprised at how much time they took to pick out wood. They rejected a lot, even ones that I thought was fine since I didn't know what I was doing. I also made sure I was home while they were building and they even picked through the wood when they were building the deck so the good face is on the top. They really seem to care about the quality of their work. Anyway, i was impressed.

The only downside is they probably took a little longer than I thought it would but I rather they take their time and do a good job than rush it and quickly put up a deck especially given that we were building a custom cedar deck.

The thing that impressed me the most was when my deck lights burned out. The deck was getting expensive for me so i cheaped out and bought deck lights from Costco. They look really nice and they probably half the price or less from other places. The problem is, after about a month 6 of them burned out. When i called them about it, they came over that week on a Saturday during their day off and replace the lights for me . . . luckily I bought 1 box too many. They showed me how it was wired and explained to me how they didn't think it was the transformer (i bought that at Home Depot) or anything else they did and everything made sense. The only explanation was the lights were probably not manufactured properly from Costoco and we're hoping it was just the one defective box. I was afraid of that when I bought it from Costoc and even joked about it. they only good thing is they will take it back. If I were to do it over again, i would just get them to do the lights. After me, they probably won't let you provide them with cheap lights.

Anyway, overall, we are very happy with the deck and highly recommend them. I'm going to see if I can post some pictures as well.

Very professional and reliable contractor. We are very picky and hard to please but Anton had made it excellent. All details are cut out accurately. We also didnt have to wait long to get our project started. Good work.

Anton did an excellent job to build a 500 sq ft deck in my backyard. Completed everything on time and as originally agreed upon. Price was fair and reasonable. During the job, Anton came after hours a few times to discuss some design details.

We looked around for some time for a company that would build our dream deck. Its a very complex two level deck that we wanted to last forever. We really like the work anton and his team did. excellent quality and a nice design. RECOMEND!
