Mesh and his team did an amazing job remodeling our staircase. Very quick an easy quote, they finished earlier than they initially quoted and matched the stain of the upstairs flooring perfectly. Definitely exceeded my expectations. The cost included laying the upstairs hallway floors as well as one of the bedrooms.

We are more than satisfied with the work done to update our old carpeted stairs to a contemporary wood staircase. The workers on the project did their jobs expertly and were very detail oriented to produce impeccable results. They were punctual and cleaned up after they finished work each day. Mesh and Rajan as project managers were very professional and accommodating when we required them to do some additional work. Excellent results on budget and on time. All our friends and visitors are impressed by the impact this upgrade makes to our entrance and hallway.

As part of a major house renovation, Ideal Stairs completed a stairs upgrade for us that included replacing our wooden spindles with wrought iron, staining the wooden handrail and nosing, removing carpeting, finishing the hardwood underneath and painting the risers and trim. The result is gorgeous and has completely changed the look of our house. They did the main staircase going to the upper floor and going down to the basement. They matched the stain on the stairs and handrail/nosing perfectly to our hardwood floors. The new spindles and handrail are very firmly and solidly in place and the completed job is high quality and exactly what we were hoping for. As the stairs are a center point in our house, it was important that the job was very professional and high quality. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and we are very happy that we did it. They also redid the entire hallway and 4 bedrooms. New baseboards and while I was to pay for what I choose they upgraded me no charge because he really felt I would be happier with it and they were right! All the work wa very well done and they cared that I was happy with the results. Note : I referred them to my neighbor (I don't usually do that) my neighbor chose a different company and the difference was obvious. upgraded from builders carpet to oak hardwood staircase and converted upstairs hallway (carpet) to match the staircase and living room floor (oak). The job was well done, on time, a bit messy at times but they always cleaned up after. We even made a few on the fly modifications which were accommodated and reasonable priced. They take care of you and genuiney want you to be happy with the outcome of the project.

Choosing a company to recap my staircase was not a simple task. I needed somebody who would not only do an excellent job of replacing the existing carpet with solid wood stairs and installing a new handrail and post, but also would be able to install new hardwood flooring on the landing to match the stain on the stairs.
