Update to carpeted staircase

Carpet & Rug Retailers review in Aurora

Ideal stairs helped us recently to replace an existing carpeted staircase with a design that included stained and painted maple steps. They did a great job of matching the stain to our new hardwood floors, which are grey. We really appreciated their craftsmanship and attention to detail. The results came out great and our main stairwell is now a real feature in our home. Thank you ideal stairs for all of your hard work!

We love our new stair case from Ideal Stairs! The staff were very helpful and patient with our questions and concerns. They were thorough in their work beginning with taking careful measurements for the new stair case to the installation and finishing with paint and stain. It is an impeccable staining and painting job! We are very happy with the end product.

Hardwood Floor & Stairs

We had Ideal Stairs do 1500 Sq feet of hardwood as well as a new staircase. Mesh and Raj were professional and handled the business while they had other workers come in to do the actual work. We were generally content with the work that was completed aside from a misunderstanding regarding the type of stairs we originally requested. Otherwise we were happy and recommend Ideal. Thanks Mesh and Raj.

Stairs renovation.

Two words best describe our experience with Ideal stairs " Highly recommended ". Rajan & Mesh, with their team led by Bhagi, did a spectacular job in updating our staircase from carpet to Oak. They also installed new rails, spindles, post and baseboards. Rajan was always in touch with us throughout the project making sure everything was ok. All of the work completed on time & the crews cleaned up every night after work. The work was completed to our satisfaction & we would strongly recommend Ideal stairs.

New hardwood floors, stairs and railings

We recently had our staircases (upper and lower level) replaced. We also replaced carpet in the bedrooms with hardwood. Both sets of stairs were originally a natural oak finish. We replaced everything with maple and the team did an excellent job matching the new stair colour to the existing hardwood on the main level. We also replaced the wooden pickets with wrought iron. The attention to detail and quality of work was very good and professional. The workers were respectful and cleaned up daily. We are extremely pleased with the result.

Circular Stair Remodel -Hardwood Stairs, Hallway ,Bedroom Closet

Absolutely thrilled with the workmanship. When I decided to remove carpet from our stairs and hallway and replace it with hardwood, discovered that the builder used only pine on stairs and covered it with carpet. Mesh and Rajan - within a few minutes provided a solution that totally transformed the staircase with new Canadian Oak Hardwood. Once I saw their work, I added new spindles to bring them up to code. Everything about this staircase is perfection. Their installer Baaee is a perfectionist.
The upstairs hallway looks wonderful. The finishing around doorways - baths and bedroom is perfect and I Iove the new baseboards as well as the hardwood in the large walk-in closet. It now looks like one of those custom closets you see advertised. Highly recommend them for their honesty, work ethic and professionalism.

New Stairs

We just had our main staircase redone by Ideal Stairs and could not be happier. We had old carpet removed and new stairs/picketts/bannisters/posts installed and the end result is fabulous! Ideal matched the colour of our new stairs to our floor perfectly. The gentlemen who worked in our home were very professional, courteous and left their work area every night clean and tidy. Stairs make over

I had original builder stairs with carpet. We hired Ideal Stairs to provide us with two tone wood stairs. The gentleman who provided us with the quote and kept in contact with us throughout the process, Mesh, was very professional. The crew was very clean and professional.
