LF Builders

In 2019 we hired LF Builders to replace our sidewalk.
They removed the old one, only to find that they coupld not get the stone we chose for the new one. We had no sidewalk for 3 months.
later that year the new sidewalk was installed.
One stone at the front corner was not cut right. It is about 1 inch too wide. I have called them many times to come back and cut this one stone properly. Yes Mr we have it on our list but they nver came in over three years.
We will not recomment this company to anyone.

We hired LF Builders to replace our driveway, install precast concrete curbs and redo our eavestrough. Daniel was our salesman. We got a quote of $3200 for the eavestrough and $4450 for the driveway. Part way through the eavestrough job they advised they needed additional material for the facia at a cost of $1600. When it was done some of the old cream colored facia could be seen from the ground. The work was done in May and it took until October for it to be corrected and all they did to correct it was spray paint the old facia to match the color of the new facia.
During the driveway paving they managed to get asphalt on the new

precast curbs. Daniel said someone would come and clean it, but they
never showed up. As I was recovering from surgery, my wife spent 3
hours trying to clean it with a wire brush and scraper.

Also, our contract stated that the drain in front of the garage would be rebuilt, which was not done, and the pavement around it covered part of the drain so my wife had to spend more time scraping it.
The paving was done by another company and when we paid the balance for the paving a copy of the contract with LF was left with us. The contract showed the price of $2500, we paid $4300, quite a commission for Daniel and LF.
We are seniors and we took their mission statement to provide top service and quality workmanship and integrity to be true. On the whole a very unsatisfactory experience.

Front walkway replaced and a beautiful job done. Above and beyond in completing the job!

Sam and the team at LF Builders did an amazing job tearing down all of our existing eavestrough and replacing it with new eavestrough and fascia. The work was done quickly (less than a day), it has been very effective so far, and looks great. Clean up was thorough as well.

I had been looking for a company that would fix my front porch. In an ad., I found L F Builders. Samm came. With both of our ideas, and their excellent work, I have a beautiful front porch, with a railing.
A second job, of widening and resurfacing the driveway was done. They did a couple of extra jobs to make everything look even better and safe. Thanks to Samm, Manula, George and the rest of the team for great jobs

Justin said he would return to put a layer of sand on the path to fill in seams and finish the stones around the garden edge that had sunk. Promised to come when I texted. Never set up a date. Phoned company, left messages. Texted Justin with no response. Waited over a year for work to be completed. Please help me. 905 243 6469 Dorothy Boehm

It was an absolute pleasure working with Justin and his team at LF. My wife and I are very confident on Justin and his team and they did such an amazing job. We had planned to landscape our front yard and Justin completely exceeded our expectations. Thanks again for the fantastic work :)

LF responded to my service request online quickly and we made an appointment for someone to come by the next afternoon. The next day I made sure to be home and available. After several hours of no one showing up I talked to someone on the phone and they asked me more details about my issues then said to get prices from other contractors then call LF back afterwards.
Eventually they did come to give me a quote, then were very pushy with the sale, including coming to my house unannounced.
Ultimately the job took a year to complete, largely because of covid which of course isn't their fault, but also largely because of extremely poor communication with me, and even within their own company.
Overall the word that was done was good, but the experience was extremely poor. I would not recommend LF Builders and will not be using them again

Sam and Frank and the rest of the crew did an amazing job. The went above and beyond are expectations. Would highly recommend LF Builders to anyone and to share my experiences with them.

As long-time customers, we would highly recommend the services provided by LF Builders. Over the last few years, the excellent work that LF Builders has done for us has included installing new flooring on our main floor living area, re-building and re-pointing or chimney brickwork, rebuilding our front steps, installing new eavestrough (with gutter guard) and installing brand new vinyl siding on both our house and garage.
We've enjoyed our relationship with Sam as his knowledge of home renovations is extensive, and his crew are both efficient and precise.
