We had 4 large red oaks that needed large dead limbs removed and one of them with a divided trunk needed cabling to help stabilize it.
Dion and his team were efficient , professional and effective. With the minimum of fuss they cleaned up the trees, on a brutally hot humid day, and cabled the divided tree. They also removed a dying juniper tree and juniper bush at the front of the house. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hudson Tree Services for their courteous, professional and friendly service. Dion and his company are friendly, warm and professional experts! We hired Hudson Tree Services to cut a large east leader branch that was overhanging the top of our roof. Dion and his crew took the time to explain the process carefully and alleviated any of our concerns. We chose their team after receiving quotes from three other companies. Their prices are very reasonable. Extremely professional and great customer service! We will be using their services again in the future!

Dion and his team took on the daunting task of heavily pruning a large honey locust tree in my backyard. They removed a number of large limbs that were growing over our home and neighbouring properties. They were extremely professional with us and our neighbours and we are very happy with the result of their hard work. Dion, Scott and Rob were a pleasure to have on site and I highly recommend them to others looking for similar services.

Crew arrived as scheduled and promised. Friendly and professional 3 man crew worked all day on removing a damaged tree from an Ice storm and cleaned up all the debris. Crew worked fast, safe and efficient. Pleasure to watch Dion and his crew tackle tricky tree trimming 45' up in a tree

Dion acted professionally, is very knowledgeable and friendly. He utilizes state of the art equipment, plus he took all the necessary precautions for his own personal safety while he worked on our property. He parked his extended length vehicle carefully so as to not block driveways, and strategically placed road signage around as well. He came promptly on a moderate January day and did all the work that we had previously discussed; which included; trimming very tall spruces overhanging our rooftop as well as our neighbour's, trimming cedars, orange blossom and lilac bushes, crab apple and apple trees as well. As others have commented he takes time to remove branches and clippings from the yard and comes equipped with a wood chipper.
At a future date, we certainly will call on him again. Thank you Dion.

Our neighbour arranged to have HTS come to trim a tree between our properties for the winter. The team did a good job trimming the tree and we would have loved to rate this company higher, but they neglected to collect all their garbage before leaving our property, moved a glass table that was on our deck (without moving it back) and broke a piece of our gate in the process of moving our table.

We understand that they moved the table to get it out of the way, but expect that if something is moved, it will be returned to its proper place after the work is completed. After contacting the owner, they did offer to come back to pick up their garbage and move our table, but at this point, it's too late.

Dion provided us with clear direction on what to do with the large sun-blocking tree limbs in our back yard.

We contact Dion because we want a professional to recommend us the most effective way to have privacy in our backyard. Dion recommended us to plant Emerald ciders. He bought them and he said it may not be worth it to have insurance. After he plant them he told us that was risky because emerald ciders were hard to kept. After a month few of them had died, even we water tem as suggested, we called him and he charged us $50 more to fertilize. After two months only 3 out of them survived. We should not have trust him. It was not his money so he didn't care.
