Universal House Improvement

We first came across Yuriy and Universal House Improvement on HomeStars website while preparing for an upcoming bathroom renovation. While doing our homework by browsing through the pictures of Yuriy’s finished projects, we’ve noticed attention to details, creativity and a very high level of craftsmanship. Fantastic reviews from the homeowners Yuriy completed projects in the past further solidified our decision to approach him.

After a couple of meetings and calls, we decided to proceed with Yuriy and his crew. His overall approach and the results did not disappoint!

While preparing for a reno, Yuri walked us through the project plan, associated timelines and costs. After reviewing our ‘must be nice to have’ ideas, he pointed out some pros and cons and also offered his suggestions. To be quite honest, we went with the majority of Yuriy’s suggestions as they were in balance with the dimensions of the bathroom area we were limited to and within our budget. Our ‘headache’ was just picking up the materials and selecting colors and Yuriy was very professional in offering his contacts as well.

During renovations, Yuriy and his crew were always on time, efficient, neat, extremely professional and approachable for any impromptu questions we had. If any unexpected challenges (uneven surfaces, pipes, etc.), Yuriy was always presenting multiple options available and offering his solutions. Also important to mention, Yuri was (and still is) ALWAYS available for a quick call or a sitdown.

When finished, Yuriy personally inspected the final product and ensured everything was in place and functioned properly.
