It's been a little over a year since getting our mattress from Black Sheep and it's been a great decision. Our sleeps are noticeably better from the big box store mattresses and knowing how much time is spent in bed, we love the fact that the mattress is 100% organic. We highly recommend visiting the workshop and having a chat with Christian. His dedication and knowledge for his product is inspiring and when we received the mattress our decision was validated with Christian's workmanship and attention to detail. We are friends with Christian, the owner of Black Sheep Mattress Co. and were thrilled when he decided to open his own shop. Christian consulted with our sleep needs and created something within our budget. He delivered it and helped lug it up our large flight of stairs (twice! haha). And while we don't often buy mattresses, you know when you sleep on something for the first time, it's usually a horrible experience (like at a hotel or someone else's home)? Not with our new mattress. It was really great. And still is!

Bought my two little boys each a twin mattress from Black Sheep . Great to still find items handmade with pride like Christian does from natural materials without the chemicals. We need more options like this compared to the big box stores. Kids love it...

They are very helpful and friendly. I ordered pillows for my husband and I. I have allergies to some materials and fabric Christian answered all my questions and I got exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend everyone to go check them out when considering a mattress especially if you have allergies or irritation to some materials. Christian will work with you so you get the perfect matress. I will be buying a matress from christian soon and am confident that it will be absolutely fantastic!

We did look for a good quality mattress for a long time. Materials, where and how it is made, were the things we looked for. Luckily, we found Christian and the Black Sheep Mattress Company. We are so thankful for a wonderful service, exactly what we always wanted, extremely good quality, and a very nice price too. Christian did deliver the mattress to us and everything went really well. At home, we both do sleep way better and enjoy it very much. While we love to travel a lot, and did so since the purchase, must say home was missed mostly because of the new mattress :)

I did a lot of searching for info and clean products when were trying to find our mattress. It was exhausting trying to weigh price against quality, especially when confronted with companies that made claims about their very expensive products that they couldn't uphold. Finally I found Riva's and was able to compare a few different mattresses. Then I had to start factoring in density and the fact that I prefer firm while my husband prefers soft. When we sat down with our choices, my husband and I both graviatated toward the Black Sheep mattress because of comfort and it being made locally. We committed to the cost, which felt like a bit of a pill to swallow, but since we got the bed we feel it is worth every penny. Christian delivered the mattress and set it all up. We got a single density that works for both my husband and I. And when we travel, I wish I could still sleep in my own bed. Christain's service was great, and the bed is amazing. We have been on it now for over a year and I would never go back. I have total peace of mind knowing I and my small babies are sleeping safely and comfortably. Thank you so much!

Excellent service! Excellent product!!! Thank you very much to Christian and the gang at Black Sheep Mattress Company. We purchased a King size Latex mattress and it is AWESOME!!! This mattress will probably last a very long time but when it comes time to replace or to purchase new mattresses for other beds in the house. We will be talking with Black Sheep again. We are now finding it hard to sleep anywhere else (hotels, family, etc) because those beds just don't cut it anymore. Christian. Again, thank you for all of your help.

The custom bed we purchased from Christian is perfect! We love our new bed and have never slept on anything more comfortable. The customer service was excellent. We received our bed in a timely manner and Christian was very accomodating to our schedule. I would recommend buying a bed from Christian over any of the big box stores. His beds are well worth the price.
