Raccoons had shredded one of our screens in an attempt to get into our house. They had also damaged three other window screens, to a lesser degree. I contacted Chris, who gave me a time and date to do a site visit, within a few days of the phone enquiry. He arrived with his son Hayes, punctually, and they repaired the smaller damages on site right away. Two of the screens required re-framing, and Chris gave me a time frame that was exactly followed for the return of the re-built units. The pricing was fair. The work was great. Chris and Hayes are pleasant, respectful, skilled men.

We contacted Chris' Screening and Glass with faint hope they would be willing to come out for a relatively small job. However, from the first conversation we had with Hayes we were made to feel like a priority client. Chris and Hayes replaced our dilapidated windows above the garage with their recommendation of 6mm , tempered, acid-etched glass to give a more contemporary look and withstand constant sun and wind from an eastern exposure. The whole process was a pleasure, with the replacement looking stunning and coming in on time and precisely on budget. Chris and Hayes are dedicated craftsmen with the expertise to ensure the best possible outcome and it was a fantastic opportunity working with a family business. We will definitely calling them for any future projects, and cannot recommend their services enough!

I found Chris' Screening and Glass on Google and called to have a broken window repaired. He answered right away and came the next day to quote the project. Was able to come back the next day and fix the broken glass. Super friendly son and dad duo and very professional. They did a great job, would definitely recommend and use again if needed!

Chris came recommended by my storm window installation company. I phoned him because some of the sash cords were hanging loose on our old fashioned windows. I’ve been told in the past that it is hard to find people who can repair those cords. He arranged to come the next day to give me a free quote and was even able to come earlier than originally planned. They looked at all the windows and said that three needed to have the sash cords replaced. It was $75 per cord, so $150 per window. They were able to do it right then and it was all done in about an hour. They cleaned up after themselves and it was left neat and tidy, though I think there were a couple of nicks in the paint work around the windows afterwards. I was very happy to get the work done so promptly and Chris was pleasant and professional to deal with.

I had a broken window in my front door for over a year and couldn't find anyone willing to do the repair, perhaps because it was a small job. I called Chris who came the next day to quote the repair and then the day after that (on time) to complete the job quickly and carefully. I will definitely call Chris and Hayes for any future window repairs.

Chris and Hayes did a great job! They arrived on time and were very easy to deal with. They wore masks which I much appreciated. I have already recommended their services and will definitely be using them again.

A relatively simple job, I suppose, but very professionally done by a father and son pair who are very efficient and polite. Cleared up after themselves nicely.

My patio door screen was torn so I called Chris and Hayes based on Homestar reviews. I discussed the issue with them on the phone , agreed on a price and made an appointment for the repair to be done later in the week. They showed up on time and replaced the screen in the door on site. They also lubricated my door lock and adjusted the door to slide properly. They provided excellent service in a timely manner at a reasonable price. It's service that is hard to find these days. We highly recommend them.

I smashed my front door window while playing pandemic hockey with my young son, in our living room. Chris and Hayes were recommended by a local glass shop and I was very happy they were. They suggested I switch to a tempered glass window for added safety and did a great job replacing it as well as a couple screens that have been torn for years. Very nice guys and very good at what they do. Would totally recommend to anyone.
