A & T Mechanical

We got back from a great trip in the Caribbean only to learn that our AC unit was starting to malfunction. Thankfully, a cooler air front came in shortly after our return and lasted for a couple weeks. When the temperature started raising again, it was time to try out the old AC unit again. After letting the unit run for a couple days, it became obvious that the system was likely done and needed to be replaced, however we tried a couple of DIY tips to see if we can get the system to last at least one more season. In the end, it become obvious that we need to call in an expert so we turned to Terry from A & T Mechanical for his help. Terry showed up one evening after working all day in the heat and after connecting his gauges, he was quick to diagnose that there was probably a leak in the lineset as the unit had no refrigerant and was completely empty. We had two options, repair the leak and re-fill with old style refrigerant or replace with a new unit. After some deliberation and quote reviews, my wife and I decided to contact Terry again and give him the go-ahead to replace the unit. Terry and his team arrived on time and explained what they were going to do. The guys were very professional, quiet when I was working (I work from home) and did not disappoint. They removed the old lineset and unit and did not leave any mess. I would highly recommend A & T Mechanical for any HVAC jobs that are required and will definitely be using them in the future to help balance out our gas lines and replacing some other appliances.

They arrived punctually, respectfully and responsibly explained the various aspects of the job and proceeded eagerly and confidently throughout install, so we, neighbours and passersby on our busy main (TTC) street were never inconvenienced. A spirited sense of camaraderie was experienced with plumbing and electrical trades to establish a cleanly organized experience with amazing results - efficient use of pantry space, time and materials with competitive costing. Took our old equipment and left the place clean and all aspect of the install were organized and much better then what we had previous all the Rheem equipment is quiet and very efficient and modern in appearance very happy with all.i feel I paid a great price for the best quality company and brand .96+%eff and16seer ac can't wait to let them run when the extreme weather kicks in

Our furnace ceased working and after the frustration of having had other tradesmen in to try to fix it and failing to do so, we were left with the mounting cold of February and their less-than-satisfactory efforts and misdiagnoses. Terry from A & T Mechanical came highly recommended to us in our time of need and with his patience and skilled diagnostics determined the problem to be a blown circuit board. We OK'd a replacement board and our furnace was restored to perfect working order. Heat was never more welcome. Thanks to Terry and A & T Mechanical for a job well done.

The humidifier was replaced by A&T after original one failed. It was determined that original sales person recommended wrong one for our size of house. New one is working fine. A&T always exceeds expectations. They are honest no BS HVAC guys.Cost is yet unknown.

Further to my Gas Range line installation, I had A & T come back to reconfigure my other gas appliance lines and install a new header. Job was done quickly and now all line shut-offs are in one location easy to access and look very neat and professional. Can't beat the price and the quality of their work is great.

I contacted Terry after receiving his information from a real estate agent friend. I wanted to get rid of my rental hot water tank. Alan and Terry explained to me the cost savings of a tankless unit as well as having a furnace run by hot water. There price was very reasonable, quite competitive and they were efficient and professional in their installation. I also had them install an ecobee thermostat I can control through my phone.
