Faced with the dilemma of what roofing contractor to select to replace my aging roof I invited several companies to quote on the job. Some were well recognized brand names, others were independents and some were the friend of a friend type scenarios. At the same time I did a large amount of research online regarding selecting a roofing contractor and the implications associated with each type of vendor.

At the end of the day it seemed that the best route to take was to get a reputable firm that was likely to do a good job initially and to be around long enough to address any warranty related concerns should they ever arise.

Eventually I wound up choosing Coast Mountain Roof due to their reputation, long standing business and professionalism throughout the process.

From the very beginning of my interactions with Coast Mountain Roof it was apparent that they were both professional and were committed to a customer service ethic. Kurt - the CMR contact - came to my home, performed a detailed inspection and returned a couple days later with a fully written up quote itemizing the various options and work required. No pushiness, no hard sell tactics just a genuinely nice guy trying to earn my business.

Once the details and price had been established and a date had been set we anxiously awaited the replacement of our now slightly leaking roof. A phone call to Kurt was all it took and the CMR crew came to our rescue and covered the leaky region of the roof with a tarp.. absolutely free. It was a great first "moment of truth" which not only reduced our stress but reinforced my hope that we had made a good decision selecting Coast Mountain Roof.

On the day of the install Dennis (the site foreman) arrived early and discussed the work to be done. I was amazed at the fact that in certain areas that we probably should have moved some chairs and tables to be out of harms way - his crew immediately got to moving things and protecting them all without a complaint or concern. It was apparent to me that they were definitely not the kind of group that would do the absolute bare minimum but in fact were interested in doing a professional job.

Dennis and team were very friendly and easy to deal with. Any question or concern was immediately addressed and they worked hard! In all sincerity I was truly impressed. My wife and I have talked about it several times since then due to the fact that it's so atypical now to find a group of workers who are so committed to doing a good job.

It was a two day job and at the end of each day the crew worked super diligently to clean up any debris. Considering how hard they worked on my roof during the first day I even suggested they could leave some of the debris on the ground and pick it up the next day after finishing the job but Dennis would not have it and insisted his team clean up completely each day. The guys were crawling under bushes and around every nook and cranny picking up every bit of my old roof. The effort was outstanding and demonstrated the kind of commitment they had to a job well done.

All in all everything went exactly as I had hoped and easily surpassed my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend Coast Mountain Roof to friends or family and have already done so to a work associate.

It's great to know that you can still get a quality job done and at a fair price if you spend a little time up front doing the necessary research and investigation.
