We hired Lakeridge to create a spot in our backyard for our smoker and to completely redo our backyard.

The 'Man Cave' now houses our smoker and has become an excellent spot for entertaining.

The backyard design they created was exactly what we were looking for. Mike has a very good artistic sense with respect to design and stone. They executed the plan with no delays. It has become our favourite spot (aside from the 'Man Cave' of course).

The team was responsive to our needs and wishes. The recommendations provided were excellent as well. The work was professionally done and there were no delays.

We are very happy with the service provided and will be bringing Lakeridge Contracting in again to complete additional work we want done to our property.

This company was a joy to work with. I'm a nervous nelly when it comes to working with contractors of any kind - so many horror stories out there. I have put off many jobs at the house simply because I cannot be bothered with the stress of worrying about resourcing contractors, getting good quality work, and having jobs completed on time and on budget or worse somebody just taking off with my deposit. However, our backyard was in desperate need of a makeover and I just couldn't spend another summer in those dreary surroundings. I stumbled upon Lakeridge Contractors at the Durham Home Show the prior year. I contracted Lakeridge to install a 300 square foot stone patio with seating wall and plant garden.

Lakeridge is a very reputable, professional and experienced landscape construction company. (A real business - not some joe blow working out of the back of his truck - here today and gone tomorrow type.) . Mike Pennington did an amazing job on the design of our patio. It is beautiful, creative and unique. The installation crew (three) headed by Joe just awesome They arrived on time each day (5 days), worked long 12 hours days, and seemed to leave just as happy as they arrived. We left our house unlocked so that they could have access to the bathrooms etc. while we were at work with no problems whatsoever. Their workmanship was first class. They carried out all duties as agreed upon in the quote. They were very cooperative in accommodating a list minute decision on our part to increase the size of the patio although I'm sure this put them under timeline pressure. Lakeridge insisted that we not pay them one dime until the work was finished to our complete satisfaction. In fact, it has been a week since the job was finished, and they still have not come by for their money! Now that is real peace of mind. LOVED THEM and highly recommend.
