Instead of up selling us new carpeting, he explained that our existing carpeting was in excellent condition except for the need to stretch it to get rid of bumps/trip hazards. He arranged a mutually convenient time for the work, followed up with a reminder call, arrived on time, completed the work quickly, with no mess.
