Cadence Construction and Design

Cadence construction helped me an immense amount by taking this job to revamp and freshen up my house before we sold it. They did a great job and were very communicative with us. Rachael is a pleasure to deal with; honest and straightforward. The job was done well, finished on time, and quoted correctly. Stuart was an awesome worker and make sure to get feedback from us when needed. We ended up selling our house for 46K over asking and I know they helped with that. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again, oh wait! I didn't!! I hired them for my brand new kitchen in my new house based on how happy I was with this job.

I can not say enough about Cadence Construction. From the initial consult, we felt completely comfortable with their knowledge, skill, and professionalism. They worked with our vision to perfect it and make it a reality and now our master suite looks like it belongs in a magazine. In addition to being highly skilled craftsmen, the customer service of the whole team is impeccable and they really took the time to make sure we were completely happy. Initially we were worried that our baby would be upset by the commotion of the renovation but the guys were amazing with her and became like family to her. We cannot wait to work with Cadence Construction again on future projects!

Cadence built our deck this past fall. They completely demolished the existing structure and put in a new two tier deck. We loved working with Pat on the design. And Rachael was wonderful to work with on the contract. We are very happy with them and would recommend to anyone.

Cadence Construction was very professional in the services they provided. Patrick's design suggestions helped enhance what we had already designed ourselves to make a totally unique space. They worked with 3rd party companies to co-ordinate our gas fireplace, and stair installation with minimal involvement from us. The almost daily update from Rachel was great to ensure we both were on the same page in what was completed and what was still to be done. Would gladly recommend to friends and family.

From concept to execution Cadence Construction was the best choice we have made since we've moved into our house. Our dreams combined with their vision and expertise gave us a beautiful deck we can finally be proud to entertain on. Rachel & Patrick Burden exude Customer Satisfaction right from the moment that you meet them!!! They are nothing short of FANTASTIC!!! Can't wait to have them finish our basement!

We had a wonderful experience with Patrick and Rachael! We had our basement finished by them and it was an easy process beginning to end. We told them our budget and they provided us with 2 quotes (one under our budget and one a bit over) Rachael was so helpful and had excellent suggestions when it came time to choose our décor (tiles and countertop for laundry and flooring for the rest of the basement). They were so professional – always letting us know what was happening for the week. Rachael was constantly in contact with me each step of the way! We are so happy with our basement – the layout, the décor and their craftsmanship. We had no issues throughout the process. We also had Patrick do the backsplash in our kitchen. Again we were so pleased with his work. I would highly recommend them for any home renovation. They are our "go to" company for any renovations we do!

We wanted to update our old, main bathroom. Cadence Construction was recommended to us by someone who knew their work first-hand. The room was totally gutted and refashioned by them. The tub was replaced by a large shower stall with glass doors and seat. Our old vanity was replaced by a new vanity with adjoining tower, and our old medicine cabinet was replaced with a new one to match the rest. This allowed me more storage space at a stand-up level which I wanted.

Rachelle helped me select everything; many things done on her own once she knew what I wanted. She brought samples of tile so I could avoid trips to the tile stores. She selected hardware and a light fixture, as well as a beautiful paint color to match my décor. She also took me to select the furniture which was a big help.

We used four different tiles in the room and they are well coordinated and of top quality. The workmanship was excellent. Every tile was cut precisely and placed perfectly. Patrick & Mark did the work and are both competent and reliable workmen. They left the house spotless when all was done.

Rachelle checked with me often by phone, as well as coming to the job site, to make sure all was going well. She is very concerned about pleasing the client.

My original budget was $12,000 and Rachelle brought it all in $1,000 under budget. The room looks wonderful! We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. It was a pleasure working with Rachelle, Patrick, & Mark. I have already recommended them to three other people looking to do renos.

The original ensuite was shabby and tired and in need of a reno. We wanted the tub and bulk head removed and a full shower put in. As well we also wanted the old vanity removed and replaced with a wall mount vanity. We opted for porcelain tile throughout and frameless glass shower doors. Rachael helped us choose all of our products while always being very mindful of our budget. Patrick's work was excellent. He was pleasant and easy going to deal with and was always on time. He didn't juggle jobs, he committed his focus to our job. The plumber and electrician he uses were also top notch. I was very pleased with the outcome of the reno and will certainly use Cadence again and recommended them to family and friends.

Initally I had Patrick come out to provide a quote for a deck replacement and addition. He gave honest feedback about my ideas and provided me with a digital 3D rendering of a combination of my and his ideas. I unfortunately had another contractor begin the work and I was displeased with the work and pace he was moving. I called Cadence back, they quickly responded and were able to start the work ASAP. Additionally they adjusted the pricing based on the minimal work already started. I had a bit of a time crunch as I had a backyard party planned (this was July) within a few weeks of the deck removal and Patrick and his crew were able to have everything completed before the party date! The old deck was replaced and he added a diagnoal design to the boards for added visual appeal. I am quite pleased with the finished product. In all I had two decks replaced in the summer of 2014. I definitely would consider to have Cadence come back to design and replace my front entrance area next spring/summer. Both Patrick and Rachel were a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them to a friend or anyone looking for professional work.

Patrick came in to build footings/ posts for a large size project that accommodated a deck and privacy screens for our backyard oasis. He was an extreme pleasure to work with. He was punctual, very knowledgeable and detailed at what he does. With his background and experience, he was kind enough to provided great additional advice. We would highly recommend him on any future projects.
