Infinite Flooring

I don't like to write a negative review, because Minh was a very nice guy. However, my floor was estimated to take 3 visits over 3 days and it required over double the time, and it is still not satisfactory. Each time I was asked to come and see the finished job, because he wanted me to be pleased, i pointed out spots, often 3" or 5", that did not seem finished. They are rough and whiter than the rest of the floor, and look as if they will get dirty and stain easily. I am going to buy some of the clear water-based varnish he used and have a go at them myself. The job was mostly done by an employee of Minh's, who he said had lots of experience. Minh was willing to come back as often as needed to satisfy me, but since these spots were not improved after I had pointed them out and they were supposedly fixed twice, I finally had to move on with my project and move furniture back in. On the first day, Minh and his employee sanded and put on two coats of the varnish, not finishing until well after dark when the light was not good at all - they said the lighting didn't matter, which might explain another problem of very uneven application of the white colouring. I asked if they had not used this prodect before, because I was at the store when the salesperson explained the proportions to mix, but Minh said they had used it before. The good parts of the floor are gorgeous.
