If I could give more than 10 stars here, I would. Alex at Reliable Roofers basically rescued me from a disaster.

After hiring a different company to do my roof, they did a bait-and-switch in the middle of the job, essentially saying that the job was going to cost 3x what I had originally been quoted.

I called Reliable roofers to get their opinion, and spoke with Alex. After seeing photos, he offered to come to the site to have a look. He did NOT try to sell himself for the job, and basically told me what needed to actually be done, and even agreed to help advocate on my behalf for what was clearly a job gone wrong.

He came to the site several times, without charging me, as he was also disappointed that an unscrupulous company was trying to take advantage. After all, most people don't know anything about their roofs, and certainly don't know how to check on the work.

Eventually, I ended up letting go of the other company, and had Alex repair and finish the job that was being done. He took care of the switch, and even helped me negotiate with the previous roofer. I want to reiterate that Alex was not trying to get this job, he simply wanted to help.

His crew was timely, friendly, informed, hard-working... and Alex was also on site to supervise.

Alex went out of his way to help a stranger when there was no benefit to him, and was extremely honest about what work needed to be done. His prices were also very reasonable.

I will highly recommend Alex and Reliable Roofers to any friends and family alike.

I have been meaning to write this review and now that it is coming up to the 1 year anniversary of the tornado I decided it was time to do it.

I used HomeStars at the beginning of May 2022 to find Reliable Roofs for a roof that needed repair, Alex called made an appointment for the next day and gave me the quote the following day. 1 week past and I had made no decision on the project but I had to call Alex again. This time it was for a different roof; shingles from my mother's roof were ripped off during a tornado and water was pouring into the house. I didn't know what to do, but the first person I thought of was Alex. I called to ask if he did work north of the city, he said yes and would be there the next day. True to his word someone was at my mother's house first thing the next day, even though it was difficult to navigate the streets due to downed trees and power lines.

The trait that I most appreciated from Alex was his ability to make me feel calm and that everything would be taken care of. When you don't know what to do about a big problem you need someone who does know what to do...... that is Alex.

When it was time to get the roof done, the only person I would hire was Reliable Roofers. The tornado removed shingles on 1 side of the house but I figured it was time to get the whole roof done and the chimney removed too.

If you need someone reliable, trustworthy and excellent at what they do Reliable Roofers and Alex are the only company you should call.

These guys are GREAT! Came to me as a referral and I had to make sure the first thing I did was check their HomeStars reviews. After seeing happy client after happy client I gave them a call. We setup an appointment and in 15 min I had pricing and a contract signed. They were completely upfront and honest. Let me know exactly what the issues were with my current roof and what would need to change. Invited me onto the roof to see exactly which sheets of plywood would need replacing and the end result is one I'm extremely satisfied with! Can not recommend their service enough!! I called Reliable Roofers to repair some damage caused by raccoons or squirrels. Alex came promptly, on a rainy day, and completed the job to my total satisfaction. The price quoted was very reasonable. Communication was very efficient. Alex is very professional and a pleasure to deal with. This company does roofing and also animal control. I highly recommend Reliable Roofers to anyone needing a new roof or roof repairs.

Alex is a great roofer. My roof was damaged recently due to extreme wind conditions. Alex came by, reviewed the damage and gave me an reasonable quote. He completed the repairs the same day and was able to match the colors of my existing shingles. He even inspected my roof for other loose shingles. Attached photo is an example of before and after from one area that was damaged. Alex is my go-to for any roof work I may need in the future.
