Ted, Justin and the team at JT construction were amazing through our office kitchen renovation. They were able to work around our schedule, apply our feedback and suggestions, and deliver us a beautiful kitchen! I would highly suggest working with JT construction if you are looking for a team that will get your renovation needs done at an affordable price.

We hired Justin, Ted and his team to do a fairly large-scale renovation of our third floor, to build a new "floating" style staircase, to install new hardwood floors and a built-in Ikea closet on the second floor, and pot lights on the main floor. Both Justin and Ted, as well as all of the members of their team went above and beyond the call of duty in making sure that all of the renovations were exactly to our liking. There are many challenges to renovating a 118-year old home in Toronto, to work with the existing architecture of an old home and to make sure that newer renovations fit--both structurally and aesthetically. JT and their team were always on time, friendly and accommodating in working with us as we lived in the space during part of the renovations, and the end product turned out beautifully. We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I made the critical error of thinking I could moonlight as a GC and reno my home while working full-time. Needless to say, it was a disaster from go. In retrospect I did not hire the best trades people, and I was quickly burning through my budget although the project was far from complete. I was referred to JT by a friend and thankfully they were able to take the project on. I was so impressed by their work and honesty (that's a big deal) that I had them do work at my office as well. Again, same great results.

JT rebuilt a dilapidated front porch for us. Their attention to detail left us with a beautiful new porch.

We hired JT Construction on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. We live in Toronto's east end (Beaches area), and needed our basement refinished (to be an office and a tv / livable area), as well the basement stairs redone (to not be steep and dangerous, as so many older east end homes are!). We also had JT redo the upstairs flight also (to match the basement, and create flow between the downstairs and upstairs). We were very happy with JT's work! They were on schedule and on budget, and very willing to work with our vision. Their team is excellent. We had no issue having every member of JT in and around our house during the project. They took active steps to keep dust / debris to a minimum and contained. They showed up every day (usually a team of 3) and worked diligently to complete the project without any gaps or lags in time (often sending workers in on the weekend, as needed). JT took care to watch out for the little details, and did a good job of keeping us apprised of developments and discussing issues or decisions as they arose. They arranged for specialty /custom metal work for the stairs also. We would not hesitate to use JT again (and look forward to doing so in the future!), and have and will be recommending them to friends. Thanks very much for a great job guys, we're very happy with the work.

Full house stucco job new windows and new porch.

Ted and company did a great job with our house. We went from being the ugliest house on the block to one of the nicest. It looks like a completely new build, but it's just new stucco plus a covered porch. The deck in particular is beautiful. Friends of mine who are builders have been very impressed with the woodwork and many people have asked who built it. The stucco guys also did an amazingly precise job. The work wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. I consider the pricing very fair. We are very happy with the value we got for the cost. Nice guys as well.

JT did quality work on this project. Their team was highly skilled and took care of important details. The team was also super friendly and easy to get a hold of. There was some complications with a supplier and in the end, JT stuck it out and got the job done properly and to our satisfaction. They always follow through with a job that they commit to and they want you to be happy with their work which is very upstanding when it comes to home renovations in Toronto.

I hired Justin and Ted to frame a new home in the annex. I was very happy with the quality and pricing of their work and brought them back in to do trimwork, decks and fencing. Having versatile carpenters like JT makes planning a project much easier.
