Ars Repair & Installation

This was a job that was under warranty, therefore we didn't have to pay for the service. The repair person attended our home initially to appraise what needed to be done/what was wrong with the dishwasher - it was determined that the pump had stopped working. A new pump was required, but before that could be attended to - the repair person noticed that the piping that hooked up our relatively new dishwasher was not correct and advised that we should get a plumber first. After the plumber changed the pipe, and we notified ARS Repair and Installation, within a week the repair was completed. This particular repair person was very professional, courteous and informative. I would certainly say hire this firm to repair your appliance!

They charged us $140 for the technician to come in and use YouTube to diagnose our washer. Then when the technician left he threw his Tim Hortons garbage on our front lawn. I called to complain and they refused to refund us! Absolutely ridiculous, I would rather throw the entire appliance out and buy a new one then to ever have to deal with this company again.

Do not use! Wrecked floor send unqualified technician. Edited to reply to ARS response: Our outstanding balance will not come close to paying for the repair to our floor our balance is under 2-300 and it is a minimum 600 to repair if we are lucky (so we are out a damaged floor and have to pay extra to pay for it). As per the cover He did not use any protection, he laid it on the bare floor on its side (exposed screws/steel), hence why it scratched, Your response is kind of an unbelievable response really and a mistruth (do not use please, floor damaged from technician, they met with managers and decided not to pay for the repairs) ARS came to repair dishwasher, after technician started tearing apart the dishwasher they said they do not work on the Bosch dishwashers, he was very young and had to call out a few times to diagnose the dishwasher, looked very new, and from running a company myself, I do not send out people that are not fully trained. He took out the dishwasher and scratched our floor badly. They reviewed our file and decided they were not going to pay for repairs on our floor, they were awful to deal with, and have just decided not to pay for their damages to our floors.

LG contracted these people to replace the compressor and circuit board under warranty. ARS admitted that the person wasn't qualified to do the replacement, and another company advised us that they left our fridge in a dangerous condition, with fluctuating temperatures. Further, their repair caused several burns to our kitchen floor. Our attempts to have ARS (or LG) remedy this have been met with a stony silence.

Although we were without our fridge for two weeks, it was partly my fault as I unplugged the fridge. I was not aware it had to be running for the technician to get the correct reading. So, then had to reschedule.
Then I had to wait for a part. However ARS was good with the communication, and their technician was here when they said he would be here.
Their tech Andre was accommodating, pleasant and he fixed the fridge!

I’ve been without a stove since October. ARS ordered the wrong part 3x that’s why the delay. I called in and spoke with CORRINE and she told me “it’s no ones problem” yup that’s what she thought was appropriate to say to me after waiting this long. Oh yeah, they still haven’t come in to fix my stove. It’s December now. For the love of everything. Do not use ARS, I’m telling you they don’t care.

Do NOT use this company! They are deceitful and completely untrustworthy. They came to fix our LG refrigerator and in turn, long story short, caused the water line to leak after they had left and replaced the compressor. The water leak damaged the floor, wall, and basement ceiling. The repairman claimed it wasn't his fault, and falsified his report to his manager, therefore denouncing all responsibility to repair the damage done to the drywall and ceiling. I will be filing a complaint with LG as well as they shouldn't be using an untrustworthy company to complete their repairs.

I had to request another technician sice the first one had a wrong diagnose and changed a part that did not fix my dishwasher. The second one was senior tecnision and diagnosed correctly however the part that replaced was not brand new however I was charged for the brand new part. (they just give you three months waranty on the service) I have same issue less than a two years. When I called them now they confess they will be replacing with any used part and I have no choice other than changing it again!!!

Qaiser arrived with the parts needed as per the request description. Quickly identified the issue and changed the required parts main control board and detergent compartment. Very knowledgeable and quick.
