I engaged Bernd to re face my existing brick fireplace and to mount a TV bracket onto it. My goal was to create a family media room but the layout of the room meant that the only place the TV could go was above the fireplace which is less than ideal. Heat and electronics don't really go well together. In addition to that, the brick facade wasn't very pretty and was set in a way that made TV mounting tricky.
Bernd is very knowledgable about fireplaces and mounting
televisions on fireplaces (having done it so many times) so I felt immediately at ease by his suggested solutions. The end result
was a beautifully crafted natural ledgestone facade with a TV mount. The facelift made the room feel brighter and gave it a new lease in life.
It was a real pleasure working with Bernd. He is hardworking, friendly and professional. As a side note, he was also able to get my 11 week old daughter to smile at him! I highly recommend Bernd. He is a true craftsman.
