After being referred to Alan, I contacted him so that he could come out and give me and my neighbour a quote to cut down a large maple tree.

We had a number of small jobs that needed doing - creeper trimming around the house and dead branches removed from our red maple. Devlin did some trimming of the creepers over the porch in early spring
(that part of the creeper subsequently died!). He left, promising to return the following week. He finally showed up 3 weeks ago to remove the dead branches, had his helper rig up a rope in the tree = and left! Since then it has been promise after promise - none of which has been kept. Unfortunately we paid him for the whole number of jobs - $800. He did half a day's light work. We figure that he owes us $400 and have asked for it. He has not paid it back despite a number of requests not has he shown up to finish the jobs.

Alan provides an excellent service at very reasonable prices. Came prepared, fully staffed, lightning fast and super friendly. We are very happy overall. Dangerously-leaning trees are now neatly trimmed.

I'd highly recommend Alan and his team. Will definitely use him again!

Job done OK but left large branches in my neighbor's yard without telling but they did come to collect them timeously. Since then however we have need some help with these trees as they have grown wildly and overshadowed my entire garden but we cannot get them to come back. So far 4 broken arrangements without so much as a phone call.
Very unprofessional. Good service is not just about the work but how you conduct yourself Alan!

Alan and five co-workers/employees did an amazing job trimming and cleaning up a HUGE Manitoba Maple tree that was severely damaged in the 2013 ice storm. (We're talking branches that were trees in themselves!) His estimate was prompt and reasonable. The crew arrived on time and were efficient and courteous. There was no hesitation when I asked that some of the wood be cut and stacked for use in a wood burning stove. I highly recommend this company and plan to use them in the future. Five stars!
