I’d like to begin with clarification regarding the high marks given to various companies I’ve reviewed on this website. My inclination is to post favourable comments for businesses that deserve this, and for others I prefer not to write anything. That said, all of the individuals I've hired via Homestars thus far have proven to be skilled and trustworthy.

Stephen E. and his company, Greater Vancouver Gutters, provided outstanding service. To facilitate a painting job we had going on just before installation of our new eavestroughs and downspouts, he agreed to send his crew out twice – once to remove the old gutters and to install a custom-made fascia needed for mounting of gutters along a new deck, and a second time to do the rest of their work. I was impressed all round by GVC’s service: the speedy response to my initial inquiry, the thoroughness of our consultation visit, Stephen’s willingness to take on the making of a custom fascia [when this isn’t usually a service they provide], the friendliness of the crew, and the company’s competitive quote. All in all, I highly recommend Greater Vancouver Gutters.

Stephen and his team at Greater Vancouver Gutters did an amazing job on our house. They gave us a quote the same week we inquired about new gutters and stuck to the quote given. They even gave us recommendations on colours of gutters and downspouts, suggesting that darker gutters show less dirt and to match the color of the downspouts to our house. You can't even notice the gutters now, as they completely blend into the house! They did the job in one day leaving no mess or sign that they were even there. We are very impressed with how painless the whole process was and would recommend them to our friends.

We had leaky gutters in an older house and didn't want to replace everything when the problem was in one specific area.
Stephen did the quote, somebody else did the work that involved removing and replacing gutters on a both sides of a corner overhang. The work was done on the day it was scheduled and we are happy with the results.
The only small thing was a cleanup would have been helpful.

They were very prompt to reply to my inquiry, sending an estimator within a few days. They responded quickly to my questions (via e-mail). I was very pleased with the price, and decided to go ahead. I had some concerns about the fragility of my siding, but they sent a very experienced installer who had the job done promptly with no problems.
